Oh wow! Another Red Notice that will be ignored by Interpol.
Interpol issues the Notices, it's the international police forces that either ignore them or act on them.

This is Thailand, the mains water contractor could have the chlorine cylinder run out, the RO machine might not have seen maintenance for years ( I've actually had algae growing in water from one ), the bottled water might simply be filled from the nearest tap, then sealed.
I've even boiled water for drinking in the USA, giardia parasite is endemic there.
I've survived in Thailand for ten years without any problem, so I think I am doing something right.
Most of us have "survived" in Thailand without worrying about any of that. I'm sure that the problems with water in the US doesn't affect anyone here. Just opening the bottles and drinking the water has worked fine for me and my family for 26 years so I think that I'm doing something right.

Less than 10 years sentence. Plead guilty gets 50% commuted. Special privilege confinement. Conjugal visits.
"Special privilege confinement. Conjugal visits."
Those privileges do not exist in Thailand's prisons, that's all urban myth.

It never happened before
Interpol's assistance was requested years ago and a Red Notice was issued. It was shown on Interpol's website for a time before it was deleted.

Plenty of documentaries about animals being released into the wild.
And plenty of reports about why wild animals are not released into the wild because many more cannot survive there now.

Tragic. Why doesn't the article state something about where they were gathered? Under a metal non grounded structure? Sitting on damp ground? Facts like this may help prevent this in the future.

It did. Reading the link may help prevent this in the future.

"Thai logic", as you disparagingly refer to it, has already covered your point. When the announcement about the new licence was made it was confirmed that the big bike test would have to be taken on a sub-400cc bike before the licence would be issued.
I think it would be interesting to watch a Ducati Rider take the driving course test at the DLT
That won't be happening unless there is a sub-400cc Ducati.

Will the same logic allow people to take a drivers test for a bus or eighteen wheeler in a small car?
No idea, ask whoever explained the requirements for the big bike licences in the press, not me, I was simply responding to a question that another poster raised.
Is there discussion ongoing about the issue of PSV/HGV licences also as there are for big bike licences? No, didn't think so. Perhaps you just thought that it would be amusing to take the p iss out of Thais, in general, regarding a non-existent licencing situation?

50 to 60 people a day killed in road accidents in Thailand .......I've always wondered what the criteria are for posting a particular accident when there are so many from which to choose.
The accident happened in the Phuket-ish area, involved a Phuket-registered vehicle, was reported in the Phuket News and has been posted in the Phuket News forum. Those criteria were probably relevant to this particular accident being reported in the OP.

I wonder if people will be allowed to test for the ‘Big Licence’ on a smaller bike ?
i.e. Take the test on a 150cc or 300cc machine before upsizing to a larger bike.
Or will Thai Logic take hold and we will be told we have to be riding a big bike before we are allowed to take a test to allow us to ride a big bike !!!!!

"Please post something original..."
I'll post whatever I like, not something that think you can tell me to post, thanks.
"Your question. what will a Interpol Red notice do ?
Well it will stop him moving about so freely,he will
have to think twice before attending the next F1 race".
How would it do that? That is what I was asking.
A Red Notice is nothing more than an advice to police forces, it's not a warrant for his arrest. If he's not wanted in their jurisdictions the chances of his being arrested is small, then there is the even smaller chance that, even if he was held somewhere, he would be extradited at the request of the Thai government. There has been a Red Notice issued once before for him, do you remember how effective that was?

Andriod? Are you wanting to upgrade to a counterfeit Android system to save money?!
Seriously, any auto sound shop can do that for you, take a look in some of the Thai car mags if you don't know any, there's plenty of adverts there.
You question Android. What alternative could you please suggest?
I don't need to suggest an alternative because didn't question "Android". Read my comment again for the context...
"Andriod? Are you wanting to upgrade to a counterfeit Android system to save money?! Seriously..."
See the word spelled "A N D R I O D" in his post? See the exclamation mark in mine? See the word "seriously" suggesting that my previous sentence wasn't serious?

borrowing money from banks to pay staff to sit around making donuts.
The entire staff is not making doughnuts. If some are busy making and then selling doughnuts, they're not being paid to "sit around".
You do know that the airline is in the process of restructuring, which could save it and the jobs of the staff? It sounds to me as though you'd be very happy to see it bankrupted, closed down and all the employees out of work. Why would you want to give that impression?

You can rent a small box from MBE and be able to use a proper postal address, not just a PO Box number. The staff there will sign for deliveries on your behalf. I've used the company many times.

Thailand Post's main office in Bangkok used to offer a Post Restante service where you can collect your post. They have an English-speaking line where you can check if it's still available...

Hi Tea, the one who queries everybody's posts,???? ......must have nothing better to do.
regards worgeordie
I respond to comments that don't seem to make much sense to me, it is a forum after all and there is so much nonsense posted here (I don't mean from you, of course).
"...must have nothing better to do".
All I did was ask you a question but you seem not want to answer it.
Maybe some people post inaccurate comments because, to quote you, they have nothing better to do?
The ones who can't answer rationally usually just try to insult me and have a lame dig at my posts (not you, of course) but that's all part of the territory when posting on forums!

So with the airline effectively not operating because of Covid where's all the continued support for financing coming from?
Directors, managers, staff etc etc receiving payment?
"...where's all the continued support for financing coming from?"
The usual places, banks, probably.
"Directors, managers, staff etc etc receiving payment?"
I don't know that, I don't run the company but, yes, I would imagine that staff are being paid. There sure would have been reports about it if they weren't.

From my experience Britain during the early 70s was really very very kind to illegal immigrants or students with expired student visa.
They really observed all the protocols and international laws regarding immigrants.(legal or illegal that is).
Great comparison, UK 50 years ago with Malaysia's laws 50 years later! Perhaps Malaysia also observed all the protocols and laws regarding illegal workers this week?

The reports said that she now only has three dogs.
What does it matter? 6 dogs or 3 dogs, still s++t everywhere same as where she lived before.
Same threat to other people.
You're right but being accurate with claims, doesn't do any harm, does it? If it really "doesn't matter" then why not state that she had 60 dogs, why stop at 6? "Still s++t everywhere same as where she lived before. Same threat to other people", to use your eloquence.

That's a bit of an over-generalisation, isn't it? You're here, I'm here and a couple of other posters could be described as having common sense; perhaps you meant to say that, in your opinion, it's all Thais that don't have any common sense? You'd be wrong with that also.
