Strain info and advise can be got from any decent site selling seeds . Sensiseeds have a good site and they give advise on all seeds sold . They deliver worldwide and are well established .

The key to stopping mould i have found is plenty of air circulation and not to pack too many plants ino one area . This is key with hydro and all growing medium.

Sensiseeds have seeds which are genenically  designed to be very tolerant to humidity and not prone to mould . In theory these can be grown in high humidity areas without much human intervention.... autos etc.

Hope this helps a bit in starting up

I'm thinking more about if there are specific strains that the government want / imposed regulations. Perhaps there are regulations such as only Thai strains / crossed with a Thai strain / specific strains only etc. It's really hard to find information about this.

The numbers published about what will be paid for green product ARE VERY GROSSLY EXAGGERATED  plus this will all be tested for any type of additive or insecticide, pesticide, fungicide.........if there is anything on the plant, you can’t sell it, these products are certified 100% safe from everything.

even growing in a greenhouse in Thailand is a constant struggle with pests n fungus.  Marijuana is very prone to fungus in high humidity.

Mae Jo University near Chiang Mai planted 1200 plants, they only harvested 100 due to a fast moving fungus and also insects and that was at a nicer site that has agriculture programs.

good luck if you try it.

    get that MOU first

We'll be doing an indoor, hydroponic grow to eliminate bugs / pest / mold etc. There's money to be made, but it depends on your grow methods and lighting. Indoor DWC hydroponic systems are sterile, huge reduction in time taken to grow and a big increase in final yield. Using advanced LED quantum board lighting systems with correct plant training techniques increases your yield further.

Growing outdoors in this climate is a waste of time. Greenhouse systems are very prone to mold, pests, bud rot etc. The key questions are strain types, getting started and further information etc... I can't seem to find any info that isn't in a newspaper story. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That link tells me that I need a Windows10 recovery disk or USB.

I KNOW that I have 3 or 4 and I finally found 1 and hopefully I am downloading to it now.

It has been so long since I last did this that I have forgotten what I need to do.

Yes, creating a windows USB is always the way to go whenever there's a problem. (at least for me!) 2 other TV members have already described the steps so I'll leave it there.

    Good luck ????

So what would you call them?

They no longer have their "boy" parts but do have their lady pieces so why call them ladyboys?

But they're not lady pieces either... It's actually quite a brutal piece of surgery that involves removing the testes and inverting the penis. Essentially, their 'vagina' (neo-vagina) is formed from their penis so technically they still have boy-parts. These parts have been "trimmed" and inverted to make them look like a vagina, but they have no functionality as a woman's would. They can't self-lubricate and they can't bear children or have menstrual cycles.

You don't "deserve" a visa, even if you go through the official channels. I am quite comfortable with the "Tea money/brown envelope" method of qualifying. The price needs to be more affordable. Many of us did not move here because we are multi-millionaires. The tendency to see bribes as some kind of "moral" issue is baffling.

The price isn't bad. It's expensive for the first year as you need to pay for the initial 3 month visa, then you need to pay for the 12 month extension. After the first year, then you only need to pay for the yearly extension. Each agent prices differently, but you might get lucky at an IO... It's worth asking what other 'options' there are, especially if you have a wife or gf as they can do all the talking with the IO. Cutting out the middle men makes it cheaper!

    Indeed.

As I asked in the OP: "If ThaiVisa management no longer wanted to pay for World News content, why could the forum not have been left open for members to post free content and comments on same?"

I think it's because then TVF could be sued for sharing news stories and not paying for the content. There's no such thing as 'free' content. Journalists & news publishers work for money, and no-one is going to let you copy and paste their work for free.

Utter rubbish ! And then you say.

I always buy Dell and never had any issues with a PC dying quickly.

I use computers for heavy tasks - I work remotely 7 days a week and the machine is on for at least 13 hours a day. 3 years is quite impressive for a mid range machine. Let me be clear - the machine doesn't die after 3 years, but I need to upgrade my computer after this to handle the workload.

It was in answer to "why-does-everyone-wants-the-cheapest-pc?"

The answer is because that is often all they need. Of course some people buy ill advised carp, but that is another subject.

I buy good value items; not the cheapest items. Bought an 'as new' Lenovo laptop usually costing £500, for £200. Extended the warranty to a three year on-site warranty for £50.

'as new' Perhaps I've been out of the UK for too many years. New is new, 'as new' obviously isn't. Does this mean it's actually second hand / refurbished? I think that's the very definition of finding the cheapest possible - ill advised <deleted>.

Lenovo laptops are renowned for being Chinese junk machines. They were also banned by the state department in the US, I think in 2006, for coming preinstalled with spyware. Not sure if the ban was for government employees only or not.

For my part, I look at the processor, drives and technology inside. These things need to be replaced every 3 years or so, so I often buy a mid range PC/laptop. I love apple products, but for the price and tech inside them, it's just not worth it. PC's always have higher spec components at a fraction of the cost. I always buy Dell and never had any issues with a PC dying quickly. I still have an old 2 in 1 touchscreen Dell  that's almost a decade old. Still works, and is great for the kids to watch something on whilst we're busy.
