  1. I thought one of the requirements for entering on visa exemption was to have 10,000 baht equivalent, but I saw on the Washington, D.C., embassy website that you need 20,000 baht. So is it 10,000 or 20,000? Also, do they check for proof of accommodation?
  2. Washington Embassy. I messaged them on Facebook, seen but no response. I'm guessing there's not much they can do for me to speed up the process.
  3. Last year I got visa approved in nine or ten days, including off days. And given that it's almost 15 workdays now and I haven't heard back, it seems like I'll never hear back from them. Is this timeline the norm now? I know their website says 15 business days. Just want reassurance.
  4. Applying for non-O in USA and not hearing back from the embassy. Preparing for worst-case scenario where the visa gets rejected due to paperwork right before flying.
  5. What is that proof? I'm in Thailand, and my spouse is applying for a visa from the US. Is my bank statement showing at least 20,000 baht acceptable? Do I need to show anything else? Thanks.
