I suffer from COPD and yes you can get it from smoking and 2nd hand smoke so bars need to be given a wide miss.....Almost any dust will create problems and exhaust fumes are a special no no.....You need to live in an area where the air is quite clean And BTW have you tried to buy insurance when you are over 75 and have COPD.....makes your eyes water if they even come back with a quote......many dont..... A friend of mine always said insurance companies will only give you an umbrella on a fine day and its pretty close to the mark
