So we have lost the brown key for the Vespa Piaggio, only have the blue key now so no spare.
Local Vespa dealer says can't clone Blue key need Brown key, only option is replace all the anti theft electrics on the bike at a cost of about 10K Baht
There must be a way of making an extra spare key from only the Blue key.
A quick look on the Intrnet does seem to suggest that it's possible but can't find any in the Saraburi area.
Any information on local key cloners most welcome

Thanks all for your feedback.
I have been getting lots of good info from Google and every little helps.
Seems village or bottle water doesn't really matter, guess its' all just water.
Anyway hoping for better luck with my fish in the future

A few weeks ago the kids came back from the local fair with a couple of fish in a plastic bag. Seems they won them at one of the stalls throwing hoops or something.
Anyway the upshot was we got a small tank and then all the bits to go with it that make up an aquarium.
We got the usual plastic plant and stones for the floor and a small water filter system and an air bubble machine and the fish seemed to be quite content.
Getting a bit over confident with our fish keeping ability we got some extra fish from the local pet store to keep our original fish from the fair company.
Unfortunately over the weeks some of the original fish and all the ones from the store have all died 😞
Have done some Googling and followed the advice and was wondering about the conditioners you can get to add to the water.
Are these products any good and do they work? Also does it matter what water is used in the tank?
At the present we use bottle drinking water as it doesn't have chlorine or whatever as the village water would have,
Any information from successful aquarium owners welcome.

Got a jig saw and reciprocating saw to cover that. There is also the good old hand saw, remember those.

I'm too old now to do many of the jobs I managed in the past. Now if anything major comes up I will get a local guy to come in and do it.
Of course it's never as good as doing it yourself but that's life.
In my comprehensive tool collection I still have Jig saw, reciprocating saw and of course a couple power drills, one cordless.
I could possibly manage most jobs with these tools, but obviously some jobs would be easier with either a grinder or circular saw. But which ?

I'm leaning toward a cordless angle grinder as it does seem to do most things, except cut straight lines and proper angles but that's down to me.
It's not really a question of affordability of buying two machines, it's a question of how much use they will get.
Now that the main work round the property is done chances are that each or both machines will sit on the shelf for months in between use. Better having just one machine sitting round idle.

After many years of building, fixing and maintenance, both my circular saw and angle grinder gave up within a short time of each other.
Most of the heavy work round the house has been done so would, hopefully only have small jobs to do in the future.
I don't want to necessarily buy two new machines so was thinking that I could manage with just one.
With different blades available for both machines, wood, metal and stone the only difference I can see is with the circular saw having guides for cutting straighter lines. A grinder has the tendency wander about a bit. At least it does when I use it.
So which would be better the more versatile and useful machine ?

One of the Torrent sites I use daily is having money problems.
They have put out an appeal to their members for help in keeping the site going. I have been a member from almost day one and would be very sad to see this site go under.
I don't have a credit card or any crypto currency so they suggest using this site https://wickedpix.co/ to buy some pictures and somehow use them for payment
I don't understand how that works and besides seems like I somehow still need to make payment to the site using Thai Baht.
How does all that work ?

Thanks for all your ideas and suggestions. Some things to keep in mind about canine behavior. Especially about if she would actually like a fan.
I do have my doubts about the usefulness of a fan with a dog. If the ambient temperature is high doubt if blowing a fan over a dog will be much relief.
Just thought I'd explore the possibilities and practicalities of such a project. Will have to give it some more thought.

I did see that the fan is 6w and the solar panel is only 5w, but was hoping it would just about work
The other point is I don't want the fan to work at night, only in the day when the sun is shining so won't be needing a battery.

With the hot weather coming thought I'd try and install a small fan in the dog's house. The house or kennel, if you like has a pitched roof so there would be sufficient headroom to suspend a small fan from it.
The easiest solution that doesn't need timer or temperature control and running wires, seems to be a solar fan set up.
The idea is that there is no battery so the fan only works when the sun is shining and its hot.
I was thinking about something like this:- 50cm Fan powered by with this Solar Panel
Any thoughts about if this would work ??

Sorry, not cheap but there are not many around.
We have the tri-colour ones, bright-white, warm-white, and half-half. Change colour by flipping the light switch on-off-on.
See what you mean about price, but Phillips is a good name.
Saw the tri-color ones but didn't want the hassle of flipping the switch several times each time I went in the room.
Now I've found the electronic thingies I can use up the warm-white I have before needing the LED. But good to know.

These are ones I removed when fitting LEDs so I've no need for them.
I have some warm-white circular tubes too, but I'm not sure they would survive the post-office mangling system.
Warm-white is my preference in the bedroom, that's why I wanted the electronic thingies. Still got some warm-white tubes so I can use them if necessary.
Can't seem to find warm-white LED's in my searches, OK prove me wrong on that one as well

Hi Sheryl,
I am have a couple of round lights still running on fluorescents, all others I've changed to LED but they don't seem to last as long
Any ways on the couple of fluorescents I have done away with all the old ballast stuff and use these electronic units that are supposed to be more economical and better still give instant on, so no more waiting for the flicker of the light actually come on.
I like to be prepared, old boy scout, and recently searched for a couple of these electronic units for spares but can't seem to find any anywhere. I got my originals from HomePro but they seem to have stopped stocking them, it's all LED now
If these electronic units are no longer available this information may not be much use to you but thought I'd post it anyway. Somebody may find it interesting.
If you, or any one do find a supplier do let me know.

Interesting, but not really practical.
Not very cheap and we only have the one key now so sending it away would leave us without motorbike for long time.
Will try some local locksmiths, there must be some shady guys around that have the gizmos for stealing these bikes.
Anyway thanks for the info, will keep trying.
