Not sure if this the correct venue so to speak.
Is it possible we can we have some advise on how to hide that lurid nauseating puke inducing yellow banner concerning Thai Visa Flights from the top of the page.
Yes,yes, you may have guessed, I don't like it, dreadful colour and intrusive.

The current conflict is due to the involvement or to be truthful the interference of the western powers in others sovereign states affairs as those western powers did not approve of the regimes the originally installed and financed developing their own political ends..
Strong men were needed to control the tribal factions and to get them to live in relative harmony.
However the western powers or rather their leaders started to get somewhat concerned when Qaddafi started to reveal some truthful fact so he had to go, much as Saddam mythical weapons of mass destruction were used as an excuse for the industrial military complexes to fill their profit columns.
Every action has a consequence , now we are starting to see some frightening consequences the rabid ISIS groups are advancing and gaining ground, whether or not they will succeed in establishing a more permanent and dangerous power base remains to be seen.
In my opinion there will be and there is a lot of ongoing infighting within the assorted ISIS factions which with luck in time will cause an implosion and destroy the movement...
How long before that event may happen and how many lives will be destroyed in the run up to the final battle who knows ?
We are paying an ongoing heavy price for the establishment of a new world order that was and still is being pursued by the west in general,
Israel?
Goodness only knows what may happen there... Israel is in a very dangerous position and the Israeli reaction could tip the balance of both power and world peace into as yet an unknown and possibly frightening future for us all.
Indeed the leaders of the western backed nations involved in the wars of recent history in the region have created a monstrous web of violence and deceit. The cost of those ventures is now coming due in no uncertain fashion as we see on a daily basis.

There are a large number of estates in the Samut Prakarn area off of Thepperak Road and you will find a good big 200 sq m. unfurnished house to rent from around 6,000 baht a month up. If you visit the estates you'll see houses for rent and a visit to the estate office can be a wise move too regarding information as to what may be available for rent.
Good internet connection are no problem true and BBB and a level of security that is fine, as suggested it is a wise move to check out the area you like at varying times lf the day first-you will though if you make both the move and the integration find a very pleasnt life style if you are willing to adapt a bit.
School wise thee is a Sarasas School as well as the Singapore International School, St.Josephs Thepeark as well as St Josephs bang-Na a couple of decent government schools too there are also a couple of private Thai schools which seem to have a decent reputation
As an aside the are is very near to Foodland on Srinakarin road, Paradise and Seacon Square plus Imperial Samrong also Mega Bang-Na and well served by local Lotus Tesco and Big C. both supermarket and mini store sizes.Local markets are good too.
if you have your own transport good, the nearest bus service is on Srinakarin road Thepperak junction, pretty good service from there onward into BKK. The the Sky Train is available just a short way down from Samromg served by the greater majority of the local song tao's services which in the main are very efficient, taxi's are plentiful M/C or four wheels. Generally traffic flow in the area is good with minimal holdups.
We live in the area and we also have our farm and house in Surin that is total rural living, however coming from a farming family and still having farming interests in the U.K. as well as here country life is just as easy for me or I should say us as is living in surbubia

What sort of budget do you have, what preference for areas etc?
There are a multitude of estates gated and otherwise that will fill your needs.
If you were able to be a bit more specific regarding that which you need or desire and where that may be located offers and advice will come to you

All credit to Crossy for both honesty and a well balanced view.

We all have a sense of humor well most of us anyway.
My humour is sarcastic so perhaps that is or was beyond your ken.
Besides has it or did it occur to you that there are certainly members here who are not aware of the All fools day or April Fools day antics

Give Jatuporn a ten-gallon hat and he's a ringer for Hoss.
Give Jatuporn a ten-gallon hat that will just about cover his mouth..

Bonanza is where the red shirt (or what remains of them) are regularly gathering right?
You're right on target mate. Were you a sniper or a gunnery officer in the military?

Hopefully the political immunity given due to old links via the N.A.P. and Thaksin are beginning to break.
Personally I hope and wish to see all these political links damaged if not actually destroyed irrespective of any political allegiance.
Get the cronyism out of the political, civil administration, police, financial concerns, education, military and business arena's etc, then this country will be able to move forward to the benefit of its peoples..
Mind you it will be some battle to fight, but it can and must be done.

Tad off topic perhaps but the link below will explain all concerning ''All Fools Day or as it is more commonly known April Fools day.''
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/April_Fools%27_Day
In my viewand I recall watching the clip and believing it too( well I was only 12 years old then) this was and in truth still is the best April Fools hoax ever.
The progamme Panorama along with the lte Richard Dimbley were indeed icons of B.B.C. honest factual reporting in those days

Just have look around a large Lotus Tesco they often have rolling pins in stock, that's where we got ours from. Or as suggested by our resident topers beer or wine bottles do the job without any problems, provided of course you have not consumed too much falling over juice from the rolling pins prior to their culinary usage.

Certainly BeefSlapper one has to conduct your own survey concerning the hospital in question much as one now has to do in the U.K.
Both the hospitals I mentioned have good admin teams and dedicated staff.
In truth if the front line staff are motivated the rest of the team will follow the example.

I wonder just how may of the posters who lambaste the Thai public hospital system actually have first hand experience of that system?
All of our three boys were born in our local hospital in Samut Prakarn. First class treatment a shared room with one other new baby and mother , room was fitted out with air con T.V. and shower cubicle etc, instant service if the occupants summoned the staff with the bell push.
Doctor and nursing staff first class and also a pleasant view from the room window of the hospital grounds and garden too.
Two nights in hospital all medication as needed and medical fees and food total cost 2,500 baht.
Might do well to remember that a Thai mother to be would have used the same facilities if she was lucky.
We have also used the hospital on a couple of occasions for other treatment broken arm, fractured ankle always first class treatment and care at a fair price.
No complaints from me regarding the public hospital system in Samut Prakarn or in our Umphur (Sangkha) in Surin either.

What I find strange is that despite all the responses( 229 preceding this current post) to the O.P. not once has he come back to make a comment either to thank people for their advice or to actually state what action he has, or is taking.
Some extremley good advice here and I feel that if a physical helping hand had been asked for there would have been positive physical responses.
So what conclusion can we come to?
1. He has come to terms with the situation and reconciled with his wife and her family.
2. Saints forbid, his wife made good on the kill promise.
3. He has followed the action in number 1 and is now being held prisoner.
4. He has sold his treasured motorcycle and taken himself and his son back to the U,.K or is possibly still here waiting to go back.
5. A superb troll post.
What do you all think?

Another hero who takes on someone who has no ability or understanding of how to defend themselves.I would like to have this piece of excrement in a cage along with that thing that watched and who did nothing to stop this mindless slaughter of an innocent for a month or so.Soon find out just what a threshold of pain is and how slowly time passes when you want something to end.
I've seen better things come out of my dogs backside when she craps than those two despicable objects could ever aspire to be.

It may well be that those posting here are seeking to see their own language as they find their understanding of the local dialect(s) and some of the local customs a trifle challenging.
Integration can at times be challenging, indeed it is not an unknown factor to find little cliques of insular immigrants in any country whose views are perhaps somewhat negative.
However bear in mind that you'll find a number of Thai people who live outside of Thailand do exactly the same as just about every other group of ex-pat types do here or elsewhere no matter where they come from.
Life is what you make it some days are good some are bad.
However in the long run personally as far as I am concerned my view(s) are positive as are the views of the few other foreigners I mix with.

Sadly it would seem as if the O.P is regarded as a walking ATM with the son being used as the ATM card.I presume there is a rather large age gap twixt husband and wife and perhaps the wife finds that her husband may be a trifle to rigid in his lifestyle too, I base that comment on the picture permission concerning Facebook along with the comments about his son running wild..
The possibility of sitting down face to face to solve the problems I fear at this moment in time is lost and indeed I fear that that is never going to happen.
Seems as if the lady wants to stay with her family and not the U.K. It is not going to be an easy road to follow. The suggestion of finding a suitable home nearby may work , however I feel that all is lost and the O.P,. would hard as it will be has got to cut his losses and run while he has the chance.Threats were made possibly in the heat of the moment, however one cannot be too sure.
A sad tale but I fear not a new one either, it takes a lot to start anew in any country and age gaps and fractured family relationships do not make such an adjustment easy for all concerned

I can remember a Fanny Hill but not personally as her memoirs were published in 1748.
I certainly never met Fanny Hill however I have met one of her descendants who I think may have Latin connections Miss Mons Venus. Delightfully well rounded creation who has over the years given me much pleasure each time I have met or seen her.

The crashed occurred on a a sharp bend, police theorized that the victim came to the bend at high speed and missed the bend, or that she fell asleep at the wheel while driving.
It certainly seems to be the case in his tragic accident,
When one views the damage to the car it would certainly seem to indicate a high speed impact, also there appears to be no tyre tracks that show any kind of braking action when one views the image.
I would presume that death was probably instantaneous, which was perhaps a blessing for the driver.

And there is criticism of the Thai judicial system by some people and the dubious verdicts reached by strange financial resources or the lack thereof regarding those financial sources..
Might this indicate that the Thai judicial system is based upon the Alabama system, or that the Alabama system is based upon the Thai system,?
