You wife will have to be with you when you apply. Some immigration office will want up to date Kor Ror 2 marriage registry.

Hi a question for Udon Joe, I have a multi non O visa based on marriage I last done my 90 day boarder run 19th March just before they shut the boarder at Nong Khai I have a Stamp for 90 Day lasting until 17th June, I know I can apply for a 60 day extension before this date at my local IO but do I need to do this as visa's have been extended until July 31st ?

You do not get free NHS treatment if you are out of the UK for more than 180 Days so he will need to attend an interview & wait 6 months before he can do anything or claim any money

Hi Joe can you just not get 60 day extension after each 90 days so it 150 days before you have to leave Thailand ? yes it will cost 1900 Baht each time but its better than paying 35$ or 1500 Baht for a visa to Laos or where ever every 90 days plus it will save space on your passport pages

Sorry Joe little confused here, so if they had Thai passports they just hand those in for a 30 day stamp for free & they do not have to fill in any forms unlike myself who needs to fill in the visa application form & pay the fee

Thanks Joe, most likely take the tuk tuk & get the boarder pass, when I come to extend the 90 days by another 60 days at my local IO I will go to the passport office in town & get them both new Thai  passports so we don't have to go to the boarder office again, do they need to fill out the Laos visa form as well if they have a Thai passport ?

The office is on the left side of the road just before the bridge. It is in the same area where covered parking is available.

Thanks Joe, my wife & Son both have passports but they expired a couple of years ago, we are traveling up by bus from Korat to Mukdahan then we were going to take the international bus across but if we do this will it stop at the office so they can get the boarder pass or will I need to take a Tuk Tuk there first & then again to cross the bridge ?
