  1. You may be on to something...Krungsri & Kasikorn bank Nathon branches appear to have changed their name to 'Ko Samui' as well.
  2. Just to follow up what I asked here...I went for my extension on Thursday & the officer insisted that I needed to do a new a TM.30 because I left the country...I queried why & got it confirmed by another senior officer as well...Luckily, I had the online app on my phone & could re-register right there at the desk...Then printed off a paper copy downstairs without having to come back later.
  3. I've got my second marriage extension coming up at Samui immigration next month. I went overseas earlier in the year & forgot about doing a TM.30 because I was returning to my same registered address on a re-entry permit. Can anyone confirm whether I will more than likely still be told to submit a new TM.30 when doing the extension?
  4. I should of stated in my OP that this is a renewal & not my first marriage extension, in case that changes things in any way.
  5. So I have some options, thanks Joe. Do you think I would need to bring & provide the same documents required for this 60 day extension if it becomes necessary to do, as they would have all the paperwork in the office from the yearly extension application?
  6. I applied for my marriage extension on 25 July at Samui immigration. They stamped my under consideration period until 16 September. I've been calling a couple of times a week since the 30 days were up to see if it had be processed (like they told me to do). When I called today it still wasn't ready & was told it may not be done by the 16th either, as they're waiting on the head office confirmation. That would be 53 days! The problem is, I'm travelling back home to Australia on Monday morning (19th) unitil 27 October & I need something sorted out on Friday. If it's not ready when I go on Friday, what are my options on keeping the extension alive? Could I get some kind of temporary 60 day extension to tie me over until I arrive back in the country? I planned this long overdue travel shortly after because I never imagined the waiting period would possibly exceed the consideration date. Appreciate any input on this matter. Cheers
  7. It's not my intention to take over this thread. However, that's interesting it took as long as 45 days for you. I'm currently on a 43 day wait with Samui Immigration (first extension at this particular office). My final consideration date is 16 Sept & when I called to check the progress today, the lady on the phone said it might not be ready until that last day or maybe a bit later! (granted I wasn't talking to a senior officer). I'm travelling overseas for 6 weeks immediately after the 16th, so surely it couldn't go past the final date? I thought all marriage extensions around the country were approved at Chang Wattana or would this be done at Surat Thani in my case?
