Well thanks I suspected that but it worked fine (both app and website) for most of 2020 and it's the only site I cannot use. Infact I have bought presents from here online from Lazada and had them delivered to the family home with no problems. What reason would they have to restrict access ?

HI I'm stuck in the UK and for some reason I cannot access the 3bb website or use the 3bb member app from the UK anymore so cannot pay the internet bills online now. Anybody any idea what's going on as it used to work for most of last year ? Looks like it's been geo restricted but why on earth would they do that ?

Looking for travel insurance for my daughter for a 2 month trip to the UK mainly for health. I reckon I could get NHS treatment if I needed it but not for her as she's never lived in the UK. I was offered insurance through AIG when booking my flight with Emirates but as all the people on the booking did not meet their nationality/stay requirements (ie me) I couldn't insure my daughter this way.
Any recommendations gratefully received.

Can I please ask, how you guys handled the stamp in / stamp out of Myanmar, after clearing the Thai immigration on your way out - and obviously before entering back in Thailand ?
just ask around near Thai immigration on your way out and you will be directed to a little kiosk down a short alley to the left of immigration who sells you the visa run service. You check out of Thailand then wait in a little cafe just past immigration for the songtaew bus which takes you about 3kms inside Myanmar to a duty free shack (there's toilets there as well).
There you wait about 15mins while the driver takes the passports somewhere to be stamped and then he takes you back.
Its a very good crossing if you don't want to use many pages on your passport as it only takes half a page (4 stamps).

it's been apparent for some time that immigration at the airport are on some kind of a denial quota system, maybe they are running out of easy marks.

And, how will immigration know you stayed there?
In Thailand goal posts have wheels
Yes your right unless you stay in 2 places and 1 doesn't report, you'd probably be ok.

You just can´t say that you get fines for something your landloard should have been doing. You are the one that must have control over that your TM 30 has been done. If the landlord will not do it, you are the one that must do it. That´s why the option for possessor is on the form.
If you stay at a hotel or someone's house and THEY don't report you for whatever reason do you understand that until the fine is paid you ain't getting your extension ?

Many blokes been doing this for a long time. You effectively get 2 years from a fresh OA visa too. I beleive it has to be an embassy in your home country though. Could be wrong. Downside is the cost of return flights home and around 2 weeks wait to obtain police checks medical etc and wait for your visa approval. You also need to show the 800k in the bank although not seasoned
That's not what I mean. I mean you're applying for a new non o extension based on marriage whereby you cannot be expected to show 12 months because you only have been here 2-3 months.

I have a friend in Khon Kaen quizzed immigration last week. Advised / asked them if its ok next month when he extends he will only have 6 months foreign deposits. A categorical no. 12 months or nothing
so I've asked this question before but what's to stop you from leaving , acquiring a new non o visa from an Embassy then starting the extension process again or are they expecting 12 months from 1st time/ fresh extensions ?

Its starting to sound like the immigration staff at the airport are on some kind of quota/bonus system for turning away foreigners .

If your applying for your very 1st extension how many months worth of transfers do you have to show ? It can surely only be 2 as you've not been here long enough ? If it is 2 what's to stop you leaving the country every year then starting the extension process again therefore only having to show 2 months rather than 12 ?

We have an LG top loader big enough to handle duvets. Had it over 10 years averaging a load a day and the only thing that's ever gone wrong with it is the door magnet fell off. Best thing I've ever bought reliability wise.

i knew i would get many responses such as this. I have been doing it (as a house-master) in CM for 10 years. Have you ever tried to tell the immigration officer what the law says ?
I listen to what they tell me and follow.
I agree with the first sentence of your response! I should have made a point of saying that this is how CM enforces the law. If you can speak Thai, go ask the hua nah who they want
to report when returning to same address . If you think landlords are going to run to immigration every time you leave and return, ask them to put that in the lease.
AND for all following persons who want to take issue....... this will be my answer
This is the only way I could envisage the law actually working though I've never done it myself. If I as a renter decided to have a foreign holiday why would I tell my landlord and how will they know? They (the landlord/house master) could get fined for something they have no control over. I am surprised landlords generally (to cover themselves) don't put something in foreigners lease agreements stipulating you must inform immigration, on their behalf, if leaving the country then returning, on penalty of fine payment for failure to do so.What Rumak has written is the only way it seems workable for all parties.
As a landlord if immigration asked me to pay a fine for not reporting a foreigners international travel , my answer would be "how would I know someone's plans and is that person obliged to tell me ?"

Are you saying they don't actually require a printed copy and just seeing a screen shot on your phone is sufficient.?
I was there last week and a guy I know had a to go and get a printed bank statement as they would not accept the statement on his ipad.

In a few weeks would be OK but to long or they might want you to apply for a new passport instead of the ETD.
If you can show a photo ID and the police report for the lost passport you should be able to check into a hotel.
hmm cant apply for a passport as he wont have any proof of residence ?

very good . sounds like common sense has prevailed.
Lets hope the same person that gave you that advice is the same person actually reviewing your application.
let us know when you get your passport if you wouldn't mind.

I didn't need to have a translation.
The numbers on the Thai bill were the same as my address in English.
House, Soi and moobahn all matched, so, at the application interview in the Trendy, they used their common sense.
lol its not about common sense its the fact that it's not their problem if they're wrong.

you have to have something official which has your address on it . I have a non o visa based on marriage which doesn't have my address on it. It does not prove residency.

I just used a bill with my name and address on it.
yup perfectly acceptable but not something a traveler is likely to have.

I am currently in the process of renewing my British passport and the UK government website lists supporting documents as being Photo evidence (current passport) and "Name and address and/or residency evidence". It then gives a list of which "Visa or resident permit" is shown as acceptable.
I am taking this as meaning that proof of address is not required if you can show a Thai visa.
Only if the visa shows your address.

Will email the UK passport office and ask them what they think.. thanks
and they can tell you anything they please because there's no accountability or recourse (its just a helpline) and they have no real knowledge of what the person in charge will accept. They told me absolute rubbish when I rang years ago and were no help whatsoever but there again I renewed mine just after they changed the rules and there were 2 month delays and chaos.
Hopefully HMPO are a bit more understanding now especially as the proof of address requirements are total bollux as regards to foreign countries and the fact they have no jurisdiction to verify any proof and so easily circumvented by the sort of people they're trying to stop.
Pretty sure immigration would have given me a residence letter for the moon as long as they got their 500 baht.
