HELLO, I LIKE TOO TELL YOU WHAT I LIKE ABOAT ISAAN, I LIVE IN THAILAND FOR 17 YEAR, AND 3.5 YEAR I LIVE IN SUNG SANG 90 KILO FROM KORATT 3 WEEK AND PATTAYA 1 WEEK. I UNDERSTAND HOW BLACK PEOPLE HAVE IT, BECAUSE THAIPEOLPLE TREATE ME SAME IN THIS VILLAGE, WHEN I LIKE TOO BUY SOMTHING IN THE MARKET, PRICE GO UP ABOUT 20 %, AND IT DOESENT MADER WHAT I DOO, THEY ALL THIME TRY TOO LIE AND BLUFF YOU, I HATE IT. BAD FOOD, NOTHING TOO BUY, AND DIRTY. MY DAY BEGINS WHITE BREAKFAST, AND AFTER THAT I MAKE SOME WORK IN MY HOUSE, AFTER I READ A LOT OF BOOKS, AND EXERCIS WHITE MY ROTTWEILER, I HAVE EVERYTHING A MAN LIKE TOO HAVE IN MY HOUSE, AND MY WIFE IS NO 1, BUT IT,S NOT HELP, IT,BORRING, I.M HAPPY EVERYTHIME WE GO TOO PATTAYA. ALL FARANG WHO LIVE IN THIS VILLAGE MOVE UP IN THE DJUNGEL AND DRINK BONG CHANG, BEACAUSE IT,S 2 BAHT CHEAPER THAN PATTAYA, I HATE THEM, AND I HATE THIS THAI,CHINES PEOPLE WHO NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT THEY MISS BECAUSE THEY ARE STUPID, FARANG WHO MOVE TOO THE DJUNGEL THEY LOSE ALL LIFESTYLE. Well will add my bit now:
The wife and I have been together since December 2003 and living in our house in the village since February 2005.
Well we to share the chores, there is no you do this do that we just seem to get on with it, me ole Mum brought me up to be Self Reliant in he world in case needs must bless her.
The wife and I work as a team we didnt plan it ,it just works that way, we can both cook, we both Iron etc etc its a good relationship.
Have you heard or seen me & Nee in the kitchen together?
It's not a pretty sight. And we could teach a few people a few things about language.
I agree with you and here in Sisaket it's the same. When you hear Nong and me in te Kitchen together ???
I should be fair I have a lovely wife and in all the years we stay together each helps the other including washing, ironing drinking and so on...

i am not shure what you are meaning. In khunHan (Amphoe and Town ) are 8 or 10 Farangs , Swedish , American, Brits, Scotts, Germans , Swiss when you come from the hospital to the roundabout the first street left, pass the temple and after 1 or 2 Km right (Street ) is an small village with maybe 5 or 6 Farangs and they are here permament.

Hello.
I am very new to this forum and to this part of Thailand.
In fact this is my first post to the Thailand forum.
I am originally from Australia after working in Asia for 16 years and in Thailand in particular (Bangkok) for the last 8 years.
I now have retired and live in the Si Sa Ket area - Amphur Wang Hin.
Been living with a lovely Thai lady for a long time and we have just finished building our new home. Have attached a photo and as many of you who have lived in Issan for a long time would no doubt already know - this has been an interesting and at times challenging experience.
However, my post is because I am interested in getting to know and meet some other farangs in this neck of the woods.

some more news for you: all together in Sisaket Province are round about 300 Foreigner ( Germans, Swiss, British, Scottish, Irish, Sweden and so on) you are not lost .
Our house is very close to yours in Ban Jaothung 10 Km fom Wang Hin in Direction Sisaket.
In Ban Bosung straight before Wang Hin is Dieter a German with his Car- repairshop.
In Your area are nearly 15 farangs.
When you come to Sisaket Town , there is Tommy a nice chap and come to our place

If you come to the Policestation you follw the direction to the old Zoo and 50 meters behin the trafficcross left side you can see our Pepsi - Sign.
European Food , Pizza, and more are available , including many Infos about Sisaket

Hallo,
one of my best friends would like to buy a motorbike : Triumph Tunderbird or another Triumph but he didn't know where.
In one Book from 1999 " Bangkok People " was mentionend a company named Thunderbird Thailand Co. Ltd.
This Company still exixt ??? Where ???
Maybe some one knows other places where to buy a Triumph , in Thailand.

An oven that cooks a pizza in 4 minutes and costs only 60 euro?
Are you talking about a microwave and frozen pizza slices or what?
The Oven i have seen is from a company called Bestron (www.bestron.com) fresh Pizza and more.
But ist,s difficult to get them over here.

Hi , I live in Sisaket since 1996 and there are some farangs "German , Brit's , Dutch , American's and more .
The most Schools have English Programs , Nativespeakers.
Also there is a boardingschool .
Houses are here for Rent between 3000 up to 9000 Baht /Month.
Golfcourse,Swimmingpools,Sportplaces & Tennis is o.k
2 Farangplaces, 1 belaongs to me where you get Pizza , European Food and differnt kind of Cheese etc.

In Sisaket there is a new 9-hole but I dont know it's a good one or not , because i'm not playing.
I have played in Loei at army base and it was decent. I was wondering if there is any other good courses in area like udon or nong khai? Alsi are there any golfers there who like to play and any who have leagues or regular play.chokdee, watdee

Who knows the Englishwords for Buchweizen; Dinkel; Gruenkern and Liebstoeckel
and who can translate in Thai.
Maybe there exist an Translationprogram, then tell me please where I can find it.

Why not moving to Sisaket, we are not soooooooo bad . The live is cheap and you can rent houses up from 2000, -- Baht/month. The area is o.k .
But no nightlive ( for me it's ok).

People ( Farang), wich lives in Isan, more then 6 month are happy to find a Shop where ou get all this delicious things. Someone maybe disagree , it' up to him , but don't tell other pele what they have to eat.
I like to know, the Shop in Buriram they have E-mail ????
