You're way past the online and postal windows, so no choice but to go file a TM47 in person.

Try to file the TM47 first, and if accepted then leave. Otherwise, if redirected to Counter B (TM30) go sort that out first.

The actual registration confirmation for the TM30 online system seems to be taking a long time for many.

Thanks, I know Im well past my online date I just wanted to check what I need to do at CW

  2. About 2 weeks ago I tried to do my online 90 day report which was denied with a note saying somehting about the TM30 form. Even though my landlord had registered 2 yrs ago I guess it had to be done again. So I informed him of this and apparently he is able to do it all online, he did completed the form over 10 days ago and got a confirmation email that it had been submitted but it hasnt been confirmed by immigration still and the number to call no-one ever answers it.

My 90 day deadline was yesterday so I now have 6 days to report myself, what should I do?

I have a recent signed copy of my landlords ID card and house book, can I just go to CW (Im in BKK) and do my 90 day and register my landlord myself?

Same, same for me, and thousands of others I imagine. Although AFAIK, my landlord has never reported me via TM-30

Guessing you're in Bangkok, using Div. 1/CW? Strict enforcement of this requirement, for 90-day reports (in person and online) and other imm. activities only began ~ 5 weeks ago.

Yes in BKK, is there a number that I can call where they will talk to me about this or is a day out to CW required? ????

Well, have you ever left the country in the past 2+ years? Stayed in a hotel? Maybe the original TM-30 report was not acceptably filed?

Again, I did say it was "my guess", but the Thai words ตม.30 (TM 30) seem clear. Again, similar to another report here recently using the online system.

Yes, several times last year but did online reports since then without any problems

  5. My next 90 day report deadline is May 21st, I did it online yesterday and it was rejected some hrs later with the above message in an email and then if I go into the system and I can see this admin note in Thai (translated)

The deadline for authorization is not the same as in the system, check the notification of occupancy according to the form 30.0

and here is the original in Thai:

    วันครบกำหนดอนุญาตไม่ตรงกับในระบบ,เช็คการแจ้งเข้าพักอาศัยตามแบบ ตม.30 ด้วย

What deadline are they talking about and what is form 30.0?

The last time I did this online was 19th of November but the last 90 day report I did was in person at CW on Feb 20th and I have the stamped receipt from that which states that May 21st is my next 90 day deadline.

  6. Im doing my 3rd marriage extension soon and want to check a few things.

I have an income affidavit letter from my embassy to confirm I have an income of more than 40k baht per month, does this need to be translated to Thai?

We know have a child so I need their birth certificate right? Does the child need to go with us too?

I have changed location from Samut Prakan to Bangkok so I guess Im going to Chang Wattana this year (already registered there) will anything change because of this?

My current visa expires in about 2 weeks, can I go to to this just a few days before then or does it have to be sooner?

I need an updated Kor ror 2 from where we registered our marriage right?

anything else from this list or that I should be aware of?

    Thai Marriage Visa Requirements:

    1. Application Form (T.M. 7)
    2. A copy of your passport

3.3 Income affidavit from the embassy if using 40,000 THB proof of monthly income

    4. Copy of Marriage Certificate.

    11. photos of the house with the applicant and wife in all rooms of the house and some photos takes outside the front door showing the house/flat number

    thanks

  7. Im doing this soon too for marriage extension, approx. how long does it take them to get back to you with the letter?

edit: never mind, its 10 working days according to the document.

What should I put for 'income name' on the form if my income is not from a pension and from different sources?

    Correct regarding the passports.

    1. Check in with the airline at the airport, show both his British & Thai passports, this is to prove that he has the right of entry in to the UK and he is legally in Thailand.

    2. Present ONLY his Thai passport to the Thai immigration.

    3. Upon arrival in to the UK, present his British passport, if asked then no problem to show his Thai one, but really they will not ask.

    4. When coming back to Thailand, reverse the above, except there is no requirement to pass immigration departing the UK, you will need to show his Thai passport at check in.

Personally I cannot think of anything else you would need, perhaps a copy of his Thai birth certificate and your marriage certificate, just in case they ask regarding parentage at immigration, again I doubt they will.

    ok thanks

  9. My wife(Thai) and I are going to the UK for a trip with our son and its his first time leaving the country. He already has his British and Thai passports, the method to do this is that he leaves on his thai passport and enters UK on his british one right?

Is there anything else needed? I have a nagging feeling Ive forgotten something else...

(UK visa and travel insurance for wife already sorted out)

No, unless your planning on applying for a Pesidence Permit (‘PR’).

Your extensions end every year so you’re effectively making a new application every year.

If you apply at the same office it’s unlikely they’d want another home visit. They usually only make home visits for the first application from someone they don’t know.

    OK thanks.

What documents do I need to apply for the non imm O in the UK? Marriage certificate and wife ID card right? Do I need that Kor ror 2 thing from the local amphur and if so does it need to be a recent one like when I do the marriage extension?

Edit: I think I need wifes family book too right? As we have a child now do I need documents for him too?

Do I need to supply any kind of financial details now or is that only later when I do the extension?

(Im only applying for a single entry btw)

  11. Im on a marriage extension for non imm O, instead of getting a re-entry permit when I go to the UK soon Im thinking of just letting it be cancelled when I exit the country and then apply for a new non imm O via post when Im in the UK and then do the extension based on marriage when I get back here on the new non imm O.

Are there any downsides to doing this?

What do I need to take with me to the UK to get the non imm O based on marriage?

Also, is this seen as 'restarting' my extension based on marriage? Ive done two years already and last time they said a home visit wouldn't be needed next time. We do have a baby now though too.

    thanks

  12. I just got the above titled email regarding my wifes UK visitor visa, does this mean she got it? This is all it said:

    • UK Visas and Immigration has made a decision on your visa application. Your documents will be ready for collection soon.
    • If you paid an additional courier or postage fee, your documents will be sent to you.
    • Please read all the following information carefully:

    THAILAND APPLICANTS:

    - You will be able to collect your documents from the same Visa Application Centre where you submitted your application 2 working days after you receive this email.
    - If you have paid for the Super Priority Visa your documents will be ready for collection in Bangkok 24 hours after submission (excluding weekend days and public holidays).
    - Collection times and holidays: http://www.vfsglobal.co.uk/thailand/applicationcentre.html and www.vfsglobal.co.uk/thailand/public_holidays.html

she has been before actually but last time the process was a bit different as I recall and the passport was posted back to us with the visa in...

ubonjoe will have the definitive answer if a lump-sum overseas will be acceptable for Thai Immigration. Since the Embassy letter is drafted to indicate a monthly income which is what Thai Immigration wants to see, not sure how they will see it. You may need to ask them again. Otherwise, could you just transfer some money out-in, once a month just to show 'income'?

I will have the lump sum but Im going to deposit into my UK account min 40k+ baht a month from now on for the next 4 months anyway.

Do I need to show money going into a Thai account as well as this? Eg that monthly income in the UK account then being transferred to my Thai bank?

I want to get this right as otherwise it will mean having to go and get a new non immigrant visa and starting again :(

  14. 33 minutes ago, NanLaew said:

When I fill in the Embassy 'statement' I simply reference the 4 quarterly deposits, total them up and then divide by 12 as the letter instructs

interesting, I already have enough in my UK account that covers the requirement for a full year and more even, but I havent been submitting money into it monthly. So I guess if I just start submitting monthly anyway now with over the equivalent of 40k bath + the total in the account easily being more than whats required I should be ok right?

  15. I usually use the fixed sum in a Thai bank account for my yearly extension based on marriage but having to make sure that amount is there for the min 2 months (or is it 3 months?) is getting annoying so Im thinking of trying the monthly income method as that might even be easier for me.

Im not clear on a few things though for example:

On the official docs online it says the proof of income is for pensions for the extension based on retirement

What do they actually need to see specifically as evidence and for what duration of time?

I just called them actually and the women did say that the online form is for pensions and when I said that I thought it was for marriage too she said they can do it as long as the immigration in Thailand will accept it

I asked about the evidence of the income and she said they need to see it before giving any feedback on that.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

How I normally do things now is receive an income via a business Paypal account and withdraw the funds to a Thai bank account, however the Paypal account is in a business name and not my own.

I have a UK account too and with a lump sum of funds in but I dont normally have regular income going into that. I could change to having my income go into there but Im due to extend in May so not sure if thats enough time for them?
