  1. Garages have been offering synthetic from a drum and hose to bring the price down. If you buy it in a can it is still expensive...
  2. You posted false info, end of story. Toyota do NOT say you must use Synthetic as you originally said. Post the book page that "suggests" using full synthetic, just for me... I am waiting for another reply from Toyota, will let all know when I get it...
  3. Sad the guy lost his life. Boxing, cage fighting etc are contact sports where the aim is to render their opponent helpless. They know the risks.
  4. If that's a fact, how on earth did you find the polling station.... Obviously not on your own....
  5. Moooooooooooore BS scare mongering..... Can we have all the Brexit threads in one thread please.....
  6. But is your ride stuffed with high tech gizmoes, as today's are, how sloppy are the bores, is it high mileage with compression down......? .....
  7. I have used a vacuum cleaner....
  8. As you have bought a maintenance battery, I would check water levels near every week, I did with the Vigo when it had the same battery, sometimes it was fine, sometimes it had dropped. As for Yuasa 2 year warranty, that is very good, Toyota gave me 90 days for a Toyota battery.... I did a survey here a few years back about members battery life, 2 years won.. PS. You will always get folk say..."But mine lasted 10 years".
  9. What you do is of no concern to me. You quoted that 2.4/2.8 use synthetic oil, I thought you were wrong. Toyota told me that you were wrong. End of story....Forget it.
  10. You can drive up to 90 days on home license, R.A.C "advises" to have an IDP to back it up in LOS... If you hire or buy a car, one should clarify with the insurance co. that using your home license is OK.
  11. Just a heads up for you... Had an email back from Toyota, it says the Revo and Fortuner is designed to use semi-synthetic or synthetic oil...Seems your book or dealer is wrong. Owners of the above can now relax, just don't use straight mineral oil..
  12. But you don't hold the 100psi gun up close to the filter. You hold well back from it so there is little pressure, all you are doing is back flushing it with similar pressure it is used too from the other side..
  13. Our Celerio is the same, my Suzuki dealer has a fix, they put in thin slithers of alloy to take out the slack, they never charge for the fix, car is 5 years old now...
  14. Is it not only a 2 year license on a tourist visa, 5 year on a long stay.......?
  15. None of your business......If you don't believe it, tough....
  16. Weeeell, it is always good practice to fit a new gasket, you generally do not need guuuuuu with a new one unless specified......
  17. Wish I knew where mine ended up...Had my feelers out but it has gone...
  18. Most definitely the best looking Trans period......The bull nose...
  19. A Thai bloke I know has just paid 220,000bht for either failing a drug test or having some dope, not sure which, to stay out of clink. At the station there were a few others waiting to hand over lots of cash, families cash...
