  1. https://www.thaiexaminer.com/thai-news-foreigners/2024/04/26/sales-of-ev-cars-fell-in-thailand-in-february-and-march-2024/
  2. It was better a few years ago, but some of our more active and informative MC forum posters were unhappy with the "conditions" of the TV forum and stopped posting. Also, our ever present wise-guys on the forum ran some of them off. IMO
  3. Discounted prices for new Teslas that are already in inventory showing up online. Mostly model Y. I saw discounts from 50~200K฿ listed. https://www.tesla.com/en_TH/inventory/new/my?arrangeby=plh&zip=&range=0
  4. A few more Tesla Superchargers on the way:
  5. My Colorado is 4WD and we do have a farm up far NE. I also enjoy going off of the beaten path. I got stuck on our farm once. But then I put it in 4WD and continued on my way. In Rayong, the Chevrolet service is at the MG showroom on highway 36. The Chevrolet service center that I went to in Phuket didn't seem to be associated with any other brand.
  6. There is a whole lot of detail in this new video about Chinese EVs. The narration does not seem to be slanted one way or the other. But a lot of information.
  7. My 2017 Colorado High Country 2.5 4WD has been perfectly reliable and can easily get 1000km on a tank of diesel fuel. There are official Chevrolet repair centers located around Thailand. https://www.chevrolet.co.th/shopping-tools/locate-dealer I have recently been to the one in Phuket because a weed whacker broke my rear window glass. My Colorado is a pleasure to drive. But Thai people hate Chevrolets, so good bargains are available.
  8. I was staying on Soi Diana. The pictures were taken somewhere on Pattaya 2nd Rd.
  9. I was there in 1996. Seems like it was closer to 2 weeks back then. Very tiresome. Haven't been back to Pattaya since.
