Nope .. this has been predicted on a website that can’t be mentioned here for a while, PT to team up with Prawit, getting rid of Phrayut.
I would love to see Thai people rise up and make a forceful protest that changes something, but I really don’t see it. Active protesters are such a minority here, but let’s wait and see.
If you are on the wrong side of the fence it always ends in a coup d'etat

a long time ago when I was a youngster my dad always keep the best bottle of whiskey aside for when the local priest paid a visit. Different country, different religion but same same.

Don't forget to breathe. Like few times per minute at least.
Plenty of room to breathe here mate. It's a big country with lots of room to travel about. Do I detect a hint of envy?

Australia has been closed to non essential international travel for 12 months already. It's the main reason things are almost back to normal there. I went to visit a friend at the biggest hospital on the Gold Coast a couple of days ago and did not see any masks at all. That includes the doctors and nurses. Any business not related to international travel is booming at the moment. This has worked in New Zealand as well.

Increasing the posted speed to 120 km/h would be ok if the road was originally designed to that standard. The design speed is usually 10% above the posted speed. Lots of factors need to be considered when designing a road including horizontal and vertical geometry as well as the crossfall applied to the curves for the proposed design speed. It should be noted that these standards are based on dry road conditions. Most of the freeways/motorways/tollways in Thailand are designed for a 100 Km/h design speed hense the 90 km/h posted speed. Why do I know this? I've been designing roads for nearly 40 years. Not safe just to replace the 100 km/h speed signs with 120 km/n speed signs without making the necessary changes to the road geometry.

Thailand is the worlds fourth-largest sugar producer and second-largest exporter. The relevant government departments are aware of the pollution problem and are working on various solutions. It's not an overnight fix due to the huge number of smaller family owned farms. Most of these are not wealthy and without government subsidies would find it difficult to change their harvesting practices.
This is a great article related to the subject. Give it a read before you next blindly criticise the farmers - https://southeastasiaglobe.com/thailand-sugarcane-burning/

Why not position the outlet closer to the water and cover the extended pipeline/culvert with sand. Less to replace after every storm.

The majority of rubber farmers live south of Bangkok. Who do they mostly vote for? Can this be compared with the Shin rice subsidies? Guess it depends on which side of the fence you stand.

I am trying to understand why Canada, with 1.5 times the OZ population (25/37), has 10 times the death rate(50/500).
Any ideas?
A common border with the USA would be a big factor. Australia has no such borders.

They're only testing 700 a day that's why. And every day finding 100-120. It doesn't make sense.
That means 1 in every 7 people being tested has the virus. What is the population of Thailand .....

I was very disappointed. I'm a long-time Dylan fan, but this...puerile rhymes, too much of an attempt to be shocking. I couldn't take anymore after 6-7 minutes and just stopped listening.
Each to his own. We all have different tastes. I thought it was a winner. Cheers.

There is a Thai customs help line number you can call and ask, they are surprisingly responsive. I would guess a non invasive test would be fine.
But ukrules is right, can anything get in? I had 5 items on order from China from early March and so far only one ever got here. Otherwise I would buy one.
The other four are in the postal workers cupboard at home.

Can you provide any scientific data to support your claim? It's one of several corona viruses and flu viruses that make up the general "flu" that happens each year but this one doesn't seem to be affecting the young nearly as much and mostly affects the older population with secondary conditions which is remarkably similar to what the normal flu does and the numbers so far doesn't suggest it's any worse than the flu.Yes I could "accommodate" him where he would be free to come and go as he pleases.

You just need to read the CNN interview he did. His family background, upbringing, his attendance at Thammasat University, his involvement with their student union and political group, plus his professor being a mentor and part of his FFP. The flip side is the uncle who is part of Prayuths inner circle, and I am sure they believed because of family he would go quietly. However, he is made of sterner stuff, and says that if he must go to prison he will.
The CNN interview was a good read

Rubbish its been a cold summer this year in Melbourne, had the odd few days over 30 Degrees and even used the heater. It's now 17 degrees.
Yeah but Melbourne is located down on the ar-se end of Australia much nearer the Antarctic than most of the rest of the continent. Why wouldn't it be colder there. It's been a hot summer everywhere else in the country.

Even worst, why some guys wear shorts and sandals ?!
Why should they have more style than when staying at their homecountry ?
This world is disgusting !
When I'm back in my home country and wear sandals to the local pub or club I feel overdressed. Putting on a pair of long pants would be taking things a bit too far!
