  1. In response to October 7. If Hamas invaded NZ and killed/raped NZ hundreds/thousands kids at an Auckland music festival, would you object to your military reacting with force? Or do you only object when Jews do it?
  2. This bike forum used to very good and very active. Lots of big bike riders, bike reviews, trip reports, banter etc. I think what happened was that a lot of the active posters left Thailand, one or two passed away, others got tired of hearing the "you must be mad to ride in Thailand" comments from non riders and some had issues with a particularly over zealous individual with 'the button'. So now we have what is left. Generally infrequent, boring talk about whether to buy a Click or a Wave.
  3. Looks "mostly peaceful" to me. A few idiots throwing drinks. Whoopdedoo. Compared to the BLM and Pro Palestine carnage this is completely insignificant. Obviously The Guardian will pop up and start talking about the "far right" etc. It's what they do.
  4. I thought you said the general election was going to be in May? 😃
  5. Indeed. To anyone who knows anything about Khan's background and nature, it is of little surprise that the Met Police are allowing Pro Palestine/Anti Israel marches while threatening to arrest Jews and Patriots.
  6. There was only a police cordon because of who they were. Of course. The two are not mutually exclusive, Captain Obvious. Eveyone knows that. Nobody cares.
  7. No surprise. Universities are full of these types of leftist loons, trying to corrupt young, impressionable students. I wonder if these "places of learning" should start carrying health warnings.
  8. I wonder how these students would feel had they attended the music festival on October 7th? They probably wouldn't feel anything, as they would have been slaughtered along with the Israeli youngsters.
  9. So presumably you think Yousaf is a hater? Or are Muslim Scottish nationalists excluded?
  10. They should have called for Jihad and the elimination of Israel. The police would have cheered them on. Like the Jewish guy, it seems these guys were being "openly white" and "openly English". More evidence of 2 tiered policing from Khan's army of bully boys.
  11. Living in the past. It's 2024. It bears no resemblence to the 60's or whenever you were there.
  12. Totally agree. Somehow they have made anti-semitism fashionable. Incredibly dangerous.
  13. Silly kids. Influenced by their extremist left wing lecturers no doubt. Pro-Palestine/Anti-Israel/Anti-Zionist have become euphemisms for anti-semitism. It's plain for all the see. The "anti-racist" leftists are once again proving themselves to be what they claim you are.
  14. I strongly suspect you're not sure of many things. Well, I'm clearly dealing with an expert here.😃 Quite the insight. Did you come up with that yourself?
  15. I lived in London for 3 years. Saw plenty of crime first hand including a stabbing. So I know a little bit about it. It was much safer back then though... There are safe parts and dangerous parts. Like I said, the Libs tend to live in the safe parts and pontificate about their virtue. They wouldn't be seen dead (or maybe they would!) in the crime hotspots like Southwark where knife crime is rampant. They're safely tucked away in their trendy postcode. Of course, once you average all the boroughs out the stats look OK, but you know stats can be manipulated to prove almost anything. London is a dangerous place, but I guess you don't go further than your chum's champagne tasting party in Islington...
  16. OK. https://www.wsj.com/articles/climate-activists-disasters-fire-storms-deaths-change-cop26-glasgow-global-warming-11635973538 Feel free to stock up on life vests though...
  17. Sounds like it's going the way of London i.e. rampant crime with a smattering of Progressives avoiding it all as they brag about their post codes from their ivory towers, safely tucked away from the reality that their flawed ideology has created.
  18. Even if he wasn't a politician, he was a well known divisive figure. It would be like buying "Markle Towers" or "Rogan Towers" in 2024. If you don't like the name or the person, don't buy. Don't use it as proof of your Woke, Progressive credentials 10 years later... Maybe people like the name and bought it because of that? Why should they be punished? Reminds me of people moving into a house next to a pub, then trying to shut it down because you don't like the noise at closing time.
  19. Judging by recent polls it might increase the price. If not, they should be happy they picked up a bargain. This New Rochelle area sounds like Islington. Middle class lefties virtue signalling. "Ooohh I hate Trump more than you. No, I hate him much more than you, look I am even renaming my building". Pretty pathetic stuff... Childish.
  20. A bunch of lefties trying to prove how "right on" they are to one another. 😃 They shouldn't have bought/rented units there if the name was such a big deal to them. Or is the publicity and virtue signalling on offer simply too much for these attention seeking champagne socialists to ignore?
  21. Totally agree. I just got my LTR visa, so I'll go back once more for my Mother's 80th later in the year and I think that might be my last time there. London especially, is a toilet of epic proportions, ruined by Sadiq Khan. In terms of headcount, I'm sure I'll be replaced by someone arriving in a Dinghy. So Thailand will get my money and the rest of my career, and the UK will get an unknown entity with an unknown criminal record and unknown suitability for employment. That's the benefit of managing immigration properly vs. pandering to idiotic Woke ideology. The UK is done. Viva Thailand. I'm just grateful that most of my time there was in the 70's, 80's and 90's. After that, the rot started.
  22. Well done that man. It's incredibly important to bring attention to Sadiq Khan's biased, pro-palestine Met police and their discriminatory practices against Jewish people. Anti-semitism must be stopped in it's tracks, lest history repeat itself.
  23. Indeed it was appalling. But what do you expect when the Met police has a culture of anti-semitism under Sadiq Khan? The fish rots from the head. Roll on the mayoral elections although unfortunately many Londoners now share his distasteful opinions so it might actually work for him.
