  1. Giuliani is absolutely correct, re: the enormous amount of crimes committed by blacks, and that Obama (as a black man) is not addressing that domestic issue. The black voting block doesn't significantly impact the over-all political scheme of things anyway, except from a negative aspect.

The problem in Ferguson is not due to black people, but due to the arrogant racist police force who just shoot (black) people at random. And get away with it too!

As a president Obama is trying to do a lot for domestic problems, unlike for instance loony George W who never addressed ANY domestic issue. The only thing he could do was promoting hate and war

  2. I did, 8.5 yrs ago.

Now back in the USand of A getting her citizenship and after we will return to the Realm.

As described above, affidavid that you are single ( spelling, sorry I'm tired & lazy right now) get it translated into Thai, pop into the local Amphur, throw some bhat on the table & bingo..

They give you a pretty marriage cert with your English name in Thai. It is a legal marriage worldwide.

Green card interview went swimmingly w/ out any problems at all.

She has a job, & so far likes it here ( shopping is the key word here..)

( Should be noted that we were married for 4 years living in the Realm, but they still looked at her as a BG, which she was not. )

  3. You might as well ask how do the English view the French, or the French view of the English.

Most nations despise their neighbours. Seems to be human nature.

Even Canadians make jokes about Americans.

    How do Americans view Canadians?

From America, there is ongoing confusion as to why Canadians keep adding

a " eh " at the end of each sentence. But other than that, well regarded... :-)

and they eat that weird round bacon.

  4. if you are some distance away, ease slowly backward, shut your engine off and back off as far as you can get.

If they are close to you, shut your engine off, park your bike and remain still.

    Quiet is the key.

I live just outside the entrance to Khao Yai, on the Prachinburi side.. see them all the time cruisin on my Vespa up in the hills & once my uncle honked his horn at one of 'em and sure as shit, here it comes..half jog and almost flipped his Helix over. Scary as hell!

The one that really freaked me out was the baboon that wouldn't get out of the roadway and just kept givin' me the stink eye & showing his teeth. I turned around and went the other way...

  5. You'll still need to install the excellent MX repository if you want MX-World News, MX-Thai and MX-BBC.

Thanks glad you like it (my MX Repo) , also his so called EPG in his live TV is provided by me too but not to him, a bit cheeky to pinch it and claim as his own work.

Currently back in the US and I must say a big thanks to you... use Kodi ( Helix alpha build) as my primary source of tv here and the MX addons are the best! Wife loves the Thai one as she now can stay "up to date " and I can continue to watch live muay thai on ch 7 on Saturday nights here.

    Excellent and again Thanks!

Owe ya a brew when we get back...

  6. and as soon as your PO finds you did a runner, your passport is going to be cancelled and a bench warrant will be issued, another felony.

You'll get caught up in that "wheel of justice" and the problems will only get worse ( you'll get locked up with more fines that being unemployed will be unable to pay, more probation or jail time, or both since the court system won't trust you anymore because you did a runner and you'll find it will take years to get out of it, if you ever do. )

Stay in Cali for the required time, finish your probation.

  7. The historic almost legendary " Grumpy old man thread" would have to be in there. That guy that would sit in the same coffee shop everyday and get on the staff's back. That had people running to the cafe trying to beat him to his seat. Maybe it was too long ago now for most. It was a daily epic read.

    Oz

That was for me, by far the best read ever...

    Classic.

  8. I've been using Ubuntu for a few years, but stll cannot shake the notorious "Distrohopperitis" which seems to arise everytime I get a small dose of Distrowatch.

Fedora, Slackware, Peppermint, Debian, Parsix, Bodhi, Pinguy, you name it, been there....

Even got my granddaughter on board with Ubuntu using Libre Office for school stuff..." it's just easier to use" she told me when I asked after her Windows 7 'puter crashed.

I still use Windows, why...don't know.

Yesterday, nothing to do...humm, got this old P4 with the 'buntu ( 12.04 ) on and by the end of the day, it now is running Zorin 8.1, Mint 16 & Ubuntu 14.04. Damn... and I kept looking at that dvd with Kubuntu sitting over here. ( had Zorin 8 Mini on it for around an hour..)

Be careful, don't end up like me....

XBMC has taken away some of this pain ( tinkeritis ) but a blank dvd will send me into a frenzy.
