The real thing most definitely won't. Not sure why she needs the real thing, suggest you check the prices of simple paste stones and let her know. The area opposite Platinum Fashion Mall should have that kind of thing.

Guess blaze missed the later comment that it was a tongue in cheek comment bina.
As for the notion that Thai men are all such and such a way that's just as disingenuous as saying all Thai women are a certain way or all western women are etc. Yes there are cultural norms but from your initial post I get the feeling that you don't actually understand the culture that well and only take what you think you see on face value.

Well first time success for me to report online for Koh Samui Immigration - make sure and use all caps and use the drop down menus for dates and addresses. But from submission to approval was under 2 hours. Can't believe it really, I might have to go buy a lottery ticket!
