  1. Udon Thani to HH was so good. Wish AirAsia would bring it back. Now we have to drive every time
  2. I hope we can now get all Star Alliance points on domestic flights with Thai. WE only gives for Lufthansa group.
  3. I use Manager now, free, open source. I had MYOB for 20 years and they went to a stupid yearly subscription model too. I have five separate personal/ business accounts on it, very easy to use. https://www.manager.io/download
  4. With a Thai partner, I love Khon Kaen. I think there's great European / Mexican food restaurants and a vibrant art scene. Plus we love plants so lots of great nurseries. Chiang Mai has too many busy tourists for me these days.
  5. Just checking if there are any second hand book stores in Khon Kaen Province? We are in Namphong and I have a lot of read books I'd like to exchange / donate.
  6. Do you have to do the transfer of visa/ re-entry permit, in old passport into new passport at the same IO you got the original visa from? Can you do it at Swampy airport upon return perhaps? Thx
  7. Hey Rooster, Any chance some technical on your team can convert your YouTube to text. I used to really love your written spiels - some of us won't open a video in cafes, places with people, so written text is much more accessible.
  8. There's 14 in the Pacific Islands plus Australia and NZ makes 16.
  9. Good advice. I've been twice. The MySej app is easy to use, much quicker than ThailandPass. You can then get your COVID test within 24 hours either at the airport or any private clinic - I used the drive through tent at the KL Sentral arrival hall, where the airport train arrives. Immigration was a breeze too, no queues.
  10. Does anyone have a real link to Hua Hin Test & Go hotels? Sick to death being shunted off to Agoda spam sites with no Test & Go on the links so far here.
  11. It came online at about 9am this morning and is accepting applos
  12. Bumrungrad filled in my Australian yellow booklet, with the two vaccine dates and stamps, no charge, plus gave me the printed Vaccine certificate, plus loaded it into my Mor Prom app
  13. International Communicable Diseases Control Checkpoint Suvarnabhumi Airport Samut Prakan Province - emailed back to say they don't offer this service!
  14. You're right of course. It's Hua Hin to Udon Thani and then we drive to Khon Kaen. Thx!
  15. What's the exact name of the Thai AstraZeneca? Does anyone have it exactly on a certificate? The story only lists COVISHIELD and AstraZeneca Covishield, AstraZeneca Vaxzevria as AZ brands?
  16. I wonder if the Bhutan AZ is close to expiry and can't be used in time in Bhutan? Would make sense to do a swap. Both countries benefit.
  17. Nope. Check the EU approved for emergency list and you'll see the AstraZenica from India is also approved - equal footing with Phizer, Moderna . Covishield (ChAdOx1_nCoV-19) Serum Institute of India (licensee of AstraZeneca)
  18. The Thai Government is offering Australians the opportunity to be vaccinated with AstraZeneca at 1pm this Sunday 18 July at SCG Headquarters in Bang Sue (Google Maps: https://t.co/MN7A2HvqZT). Please note – this is SCG Headquarters in Bang Sue, not the Bang Sue train station. (2)
  19. Many thanks mate for your post. I went back to the old Intervac website and it has the link to MedPark hospital. I also registered and they have confirmed me for 8 August for free government over 60s vaccine. Which vaccine did you get? https://www.medparkhospital.com/en/page/covid19-vaccine-expats
  20. Hi mate. Same experience, but click on "Thai" not "English" in the translate option, then enter your ID number and click and it registers you and gives you a queue number. No idea why or how, but if you enter it in English even though it's a number, it won't register you.
