  1. does anyone has a true and exact copy of the thai forensic report which can be shared?

or a location or link that provides access to that report.... without violating any statue or law pls?

i'll be glad to translate it into english again.... <as i did for the murder verdict last month> for the benefits of tv members.

maybe contact Ryan Kells at this blog http://jillstonge.blogspot.com/

I got that URL from this http://blog.nationmultimedia.com/print.php?id=9051

  2. When I was in UK recently,I found with reasonably careful use that a £10 1GB PAYG top-up lasted me a month.

if you run a browser with an adblocker and a flash blocker you should be able to trim a fair bit off your usage and increase the speed of your page loads.

  3. I do. At least as much now as then. Nothing has changed for the better.

maybe you have missed what is happening to the rest of the planet ? every country is struggling.

the mastermind behind the Thai elite card does not make astute business decisions.

where are his comphrensive plans with the numbers to back them up that will help this country ?

his only plan is to come back and play poo yai - he is incompetent and I doubt he could run a corner store at a profit.

  4. yes he does.

as he points out there is nothing that will stop a direct hit - if the main path is through your house , you want to hope you are not even home. a fire would probably break out anyway , of which the UPS would be of no use.

how many Thai places are even earthed ? this means there is less path.

but a UPS has a solid state interface between your wall power and its output which should give you a reasonable amount of protection against most non direct strikes .

I don't unplug everything during a storm - I 'll take the small risk.

  5. So we might all be prohibited from taking any picture in Thailand without the prior authorization of TAT, is that what it means ???

of course they have not thought it through.

the attention this is getting and the amount of video recording devices out there will ensure a deluge of video will hit the internet focusing on corruption and scams.

  6. I don't know what OS you're using, but you might want to go into:

Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Computer Management -> Disk Management (for Windows XP - or the equivalent for your OS)

    also start , run - diskmgmt.msc

  7. I downloaded a full 700mb movie last night ( The Hangover ) ...............in 24 minutes. :)

It would take days in Thailand.

as with Toms experience , I also have a TRUE 4096/512 for 1060 baht per month and I get full speed outside of congested hours.

I throttle my torrents to 150Kbytes down and with good seeding it sits there 24hours a day at that rate - my torrent machine is an old mini desktop running headless.

skype youtube and browsing via multiple comps on the network have not issues.

I do suspect that many peoples problems with their internet are of their own making - you cannnot expect high performance out of a badly maintained , overweight , non optimised system.

  8. With this verdict, there can be no more excuses or delays from the Thai anti-graft agency in launching an investigation into Juthamas Siriwan, the former TAT governor who granted the film festival deals, along with other contracts worth more than $10 million, to the Greens during those scandalous years.

will they investigate everything she handled , or just restrict it to the contracts involving the Greens ?

  9. Thank you, I know what you mean, where it says "https:" in the URL?

How about if it is not secure. For example, my hotmail account, the log in is not secure, just curious as to whether they could then read my email -- the pages don't appear to be secure either.

    ? ? ?

Thanks, not that big a deal really, but I always wondered about that when I was staying in a hotel.

    :)

if it is not HTTPS the router and also anyone in the area sniffing wireless data will see it all in plain text - if you use gmail I would suggest logging in via https://mail.google.com

as for securely entering your password , you could open a page in another tab which has a lot of text , maybe a big wikipedia article and then copy and paste your password with letters obtained from it.
