Oh no, not impartial administration of justice! What will the red apologists moan about now?
Oh yeah, "rights".
They wait for the fat lady and the woodbusiness.

Normally there are good questions and only bad answers: Papa, why the sky is blue? Stop to ask me stupid things.
But the most stupid questions are where you have to know that there cannot be an answer.
The Buddha explained it clearly: Metaphysical speculations make your mind dirty, your mind forgets to look for "what is what".
This is the basic Teaching of the Buddha.

The world has numerous people who have had greater injuries than this and have not harmed others. Likewise, many people such as this lead productive lives without a fiduciary or guardian. Having noted this, my dear friend suffered a traumatic brain injury 20 years ago and did in fact surrender guardianship for his affairs, as he was deemed not able to handle his affairs. Is this the same standard for competence in a criminal case? I dont know.
I do know this: as a strong advocate for the death penalty, many years ago my then (lazy) wife asked me to assist (read write) a research report on the death penalty in America. Going into the paper I was sure what my argument would be- in favor of the death penalty. At the conclusion of my research I found it overwhelmingly apparent that there were in fact two standards that existed in the US with regard to the death penalty. People with money and resources were significantly less likely to be condemned to death than the indignant, minorities, or any other group. The question then presented itself to me: Should the State, in any event, be murdering citizens? My gut says a State/the People retain this right but it doesn't sit so well. It does not seem to have appropriate checks and balances related to a defendant's status and means in society to defend themselves.
Its not that innocent people are being put to death insomuch as it seems innocent people go free.
You have a brain injury too.

Another poor sod who'll probably be detained and arrested for working without a permit.
No, this time not. The tsumani posters before forgot it was the Thaksin misadministration at this time.

The system of "nepotism" is well known.
In busisness companies this system is well accepted. No big problems
In administration offices it's different.
The solution is easy. If qualified your member of family can make a contract with another office working with the same aim.
(corruption is not excluded but can be verified).
If you need that your member of family works together with you for the benefit of your job: no money, no executive legal power.

Imagine there was no religion....John Lenon
Right. Tan Buddhadasa (Unesco award VIP person of the last century) wrote a book:"No religion".
I give the concentrate: If someone understands the truth of his religion, then there is no more religion.
Dhamma, Tao, all the Gods represent only the LAW OF NATURE.

Unfortunately I believe there are some millionaire preachers in the US, reminds me of Ray Stevens song "Would Jesus wear a Rolex watch".
And, it was reported that Clinton's received a lot in contributions from Buddhist Nuns in a Los Angeles Temple during their campaigns.
No-one's talking about the clergy in the US.......this is about Thai religious leaders.......and a full scale enquiry into their wealth is long overdue.
They do have several branches in the US and many other parts of the world which carry on the same : http://www.dimc.net/English/Branch/branch.htm
They are an extremely rich and widespread 'organization', for want of a better word.
In Germany the Buddhist Union of Germany, Austria and Switzerland (including all Buddhists from Theravada, Tibet (Dhalai Lama) to ZEN, China and Western
independent followers) ejected unanimously the pseudo buddhist sect of dhammakay to be a member. In Munich they tried to install a "home" with corruption and
"holy" promises. They were kicked out by "tax officers".

It is not clear yet how the community leaders found out what the people want.
Any links with details?
Remarks from the countryside.
We had crackdowns by police and soldiers for three men in my village.
Two were well known recruiters for red shirts in Bangkok before/ the victims were the poorest of the poorests.
At the same time they were the biggist loan sharks in our area.
The army and the police took them out of "service".
My village people: A heave of a sigh of relief. Our village leaders too.
The third man was innocent, something with his ID card was not correct.
A remark from the people in my area, for the rest I'm ignorant.
Clean a little bit first, and than people can elect someone.

I'm outside of the discussion. Only one experience.
I pay the internet bill, tv bill in the name of my wife at the siam bank.
The officers ask me : it's your wife? - yes.
You have "gig" in Thailand? - No.
Why? Thai have "gigs", Farang have "gigs". Why you don't have "gigs"?
- with a good wife, you have small problems. More you have "gigs" more you have problems.
All the staff ,women included had a big fit of laughter.

A friend of mine, German, English Teacher at a Catholic school with good reputation told me about a staff excursion to Lao.
Some teachers (Farang Catholics and Thai Catholics) disappeared on the way. Harmless to have appointment with golf partners.
But in the rented Hotel he didn't see some of his colleagues. He investigated: Near the Hotel was another Hotel, specialised for special services
for staff excursions from Thailand.
