With True/Asianet it depens on routing if you can get to samair.ru/proxy or not.
Anyway if it's blocked for me at given moment, I put transparent proxy from one of the international providers like this: proxy.bezeqint.net 8080. Then I'm able to get to samair.ru/proxy and choose working anonymous proxy from "Proxies in real time". Dont take ones with port 80, it will not give you anonymousy. Ports like 8080, 3128, 8888 etc is fine. Put attention on returning ping, if its more than 400, choose another server, otherwise it will be slow. Try to choose server in neighbour country, it will faster the responce. I hope this info will help.
What the heck is a proxy anyway. carn. I have no problems going to www.samair.ru/proxy. It's a site with about 20 pages of those proxy numbers, right? What do you do with them? I put one in the address window and nothing happened...what do you do with them? -
www.samair.ru/proxy
I am still using a free one, which hs been working well for the last 6 months. I have noticed that www.tehbox.com is no longer working, the proxies they used to give out were quite reliable. This invisible site does'nt seem so good, I have only manged to get a couple that have worked and then very slowly. A proxy is essential here with the increasing levels of censorship.so its just about luck?.......must be reliable proxys somewhere, right?
or........why are those proxys so fluid?

She's not Thai, anyway she did it in Hat Yai from what I know, and now it's infected, she took antibiotics and it got better, but came back after she stop the treatment. She would like to fix it if possible, or to take it out completely. So right now we need recommendation for private surgeon or inexpensive hospital. It should cost not more than 20000 baht from what I know. RDN can you recommend the place where your GF done it? Please PM me full details. Thanks.

It was widely discussed on the forum...very difficult to find a job here without connections. Try to find multinational company that need staff in Thailand, otherwise I dont think you will find something.
I'm living in Sweden currently but thinking about moving to Thailand. I've been thinking about starting a business in Thailand or finding a job. Right now I'm leaning towards finding a job. So I have been looking on the Internet for companies (preferably non-thai companies, since I can't speak thai yet) that might hire europeans. Does anyone have any good leads to companies that might be on the lookout for english-speaking europeans. (I have a degree in business administartion from a swedish university - although I don't know if that is a help in Thailand ) -
What a bullshit...and if farang will get his bird he gets 10 years non b visa and elite card..?......:-)
Thailand losing battle to win Muslim heartsPATTANI: -- A dozen Muslim men were watching a television show at a teashop when the school next door went up in flames in Thailand's deep south.
They ignored it.
Soldiers arrived without fire-fighting equipment and tried to tackle the blaze with a bucket as their colonel pleaded to groups of people watching the 36-year-old school burn down.
"This is everyone's school," the colonel cried. "Please help the soldiers put it out."
They ignored him.
Lohtu Elementary School was one of five schools which went up in flames on Tuesday night, just hours after Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra said the situation in the mainly Muslim south was improving.
The reluctance of local Muslims to help save the school, which they see as a symbol of the government in Bangkok, spoke volumes about the estrangement of Malay-speaking people in an overwhelmingly Buddhist nation.
Three of the five schools were in the Kapoh district of Pattani province where police shot dead two armed Muslim militants a day earlier.
"They probably set them on fire because two of their men were killed," the colonel told Reuters in between urging the Muslim villagers to help try save the building.
They were the latest of scores of schools torched in Thailand's three southermost provinces alongside the Malaysian border since January, when the violence erupted with a raid on an army camp in which more than 300 assault rifles were stolen.
Since then, almost 500 people -- government officials, suspected militants and civilians -- have been killed in the violence.
FUTILE ATTEMPTS
Nothing Prime Minister Thaksin has tried seems to have dented the alienation.
He believes lack of education and unemployment are the two main factors behind the violence in a region where Muslim separatists fought low key insurgencies in the 1970s and 1980s.
Thaksin pledged to spend 12 billion baht on education, job creation and infrastructure to accelerate regional development.
But appeals for people to come forward with information to help end the militancy appear to fall on deaf ears.
"Many Muslims are still reluctant to help the authorities with tip-offs because they don't trust officials," said a Muslim scholar who declined to be identified.
Thaksin's latest campaign -- to get each of Thailand's 63 million people to fold a paper dove to be dropped over the deep south on King Bhumibhol Adulyadej's birthday on December 5 as a gesture of peace and caring -- is shrugged off in the south.
Thaksin, who faces a general election in February he is expected to win handsomely despite the continuing violence in the south, is undeterred.
He brought experts to his cabinet meeting on Tuesday to teach ministers how to fold a paper dove and signed the wings of one.
"If a child gets my bird, he or she will get a scholarship," Thaksin told reporters "If an unemployed adult gets it, he or she will get a job."

My girl friend from overseas looking need to take out silicon inplant after not so succesful operation in South Thailand. Anyone know reliable, but not expenssive plastic surgeon in BKK? Any help will be kindly appreaciated.

Noone will actually ask you for 2 miilion baht, it's just on the paper. The easiest option in your case is to open Thai LTD with almost all the shares on your name. And your 6 "Thai Shareholders" will keep 1 share each. Much cheaper and fastest option. This is the case for "export only" company.
Thanks a lot.My idea is to open an office in Thailand of as a foreign company which will manage Export from Thailand. The main activities of this office will be acuiring agricultural goods in Thailand and shipping them abroad, as well as market research, trade mediation and related activities. Do you foresee difficulties with such an operation?
Can you also elaborate on the other option of registering a Thai private Co. Ltd.? I am able to register 2,000,000 baht in capital.
I have sent you a standard email as well.

Used Panasonic and Sony camcorders as a webcam. Easy and cool, but try to buy one that have this option build in and mentioned. So it will be much more easy to conect and use(few control options from the cam itself etc).

Sounds great man, I just hope the car is not your GF name..
It is in her name and why would that be a bad thing? Her parents put up a lot of cash on the car and she'll be making all the payments on it. It's "our" car because I'm her future husband, but it makes perfect since right now for the car to be in her name.
She's paying for it, why shouldn't it be in her name?
Ok, I'm just too pesimistic about thai-farang relationship in long run. Good luck.

One more question: how secure this thing? What protocol is use?

Forget about Thai company, open merchant account with Pay Pall that enables you to charge your customers cards online and keep the money in US. Much more easy and secure. Your business not require cargo etc, easy to do.

My advise: try Singapore or Hong Kong for this biz. Prices is cheaper there, suppliers speak English and reliable.Thailand is good for fun, not for biz.

Ohhh yeah it's so safe now for tourists here, they are executed in national parks, murdered by police officers, arrested for not carrying passposts, commiting a suicide by jumping from high floors with plastic bags on their heads, exploding in bars in deeps south etc. So safe!

I mean that this proxy will let me "cheat" on True network and get to samair.ru/proxy but it's not anonymous proxy. Servers will see your real address and record it into log.
