My friend using Jasmine DSL service and it's look good and reliable, however the price is high-about 6000 baht per month for unlimited package. True is shit, I installed it in another friend house, the biggest problem is not the slow speed, but the unstable status of service. The line speed jumping in peaks and come to 0 every few seconds/munites. I'm talking about upload, download is a bit better. The quality of service will depens on your location in BKK mainly from what I understood. To be more far than 1.5-2 km from the local phone hub=forget about good speed with dsl whatever isp/package u purchase.

Looks pretty easy to me: the guy had a probem with Laotian wife and seeks help from her former lover. Probably the Laotian wife stubbed her to death(we all know how furious Isaaan girl can be if they love someone). The police was trying to make some cash from the case, but let him free on bail(another funny thing in Thailand, when murderes can be bailed). If he is involved or not, he did the right thing escaping the country, cause Thaiand is good for holidays not for trials..:-)

Wmv is a great format, you're right sas_cars, I converted MPG file of 9MG to wmv 3MG wthout loosing much quality. Unfortunatelly most of video editing progs are pretty buggy, especially joiners...I cant replace sound layot on my MPG file with music track.

And one more question: have someone seen "Muvee Autoproducer 3.5 Magic Moments" selling in Pantip or somewhere else? Thanks for advice.

It's a nonsense...how stupid voters should be to bring this man to power again..and financial part of this? Can you imagine how much it will cost Thailand, to give "free" cows? I believe this idea will die, even before the election, like all the others "great shchemes".

I'm member of Fitness first at Sukhumvit 39, very good club, it has been Spa on 39 before amd FF bought it. It cost 2400 baht for month if you want roaming service(I'm using FF also in Singapore every month on my trips). Joining fee should be about 5000 baht, maybe more I will ask tonight as I go there.

It's a probem of access from asianet-true dns resolving. You must go through proxy: try this one: proxy.bezeqint.net port 8080. It's working for me,I hope it can work for you too. Good luck.

The True connection is veru unstable and far from anything that was promised, on 2.5M package my friend hardly have 50 kb/s download and 10-15 kb/s upload. Instalation process of USB modem however is easy, you just install their CD supplied with the modem and plug the modem to USB slot in your comp. The CD automatically creates dialer on your desctop, open it write user name and password and dial.

Probabaly the private company that provide the new buses belongs to some uncle or relative of the mayor..and 30 baht instead of 10? If the one travel just few soi on second road I believe it's expensive.One conclusion: I will use rent car in Pattaya like I did all the times before...

That happened to me before, same story was just chating with friend and banned without any warning, explanation or reason. BTW they are not blocking IP ranges,it has something to do with Java scripts,cause I tried anonymous proxy's, new user on XP machine etc, nothing worked. Was banned for 2 days, and suddenly it was ok...
Amazing Thailand.

Smaller Video Format: Avi Or Mpg?

I'm done with my movies, so now little about software I found useful:
The original movie was taken by Sony DCS-F77 digital cam, straight to MPG format. I cut it to few smaller pieces with "Easy Video Splitter".Now, after trying many other progs and joiners that was bagged or trial versions(and I couldnt crack it), I found Sony Movie Shaker 3.3 that come complimantary with my Vaio. What an amazing piece of software ! Cut/join/capture video, cut or add audio, texts, effects and more. Very stable and easy to use. After editing my videos, I finnaly covert it to Wmv format with Boilsoft Asf Converter. Another amazing program: mpg file of about 7-8 mg with stereo wav layot on it, could be easy converted to 1-2.5 mg in wmv using NTSC 768 kbps option. Mission completed..:-)
