  1. Look in the Windows Live Help... it tells how to do this.

    MSPain

Been there and nothing works because all of a sudden an email address I used many years ago has appeared, I am unable to get the code to re-set my password because it is using this old email, fuffing computers grr

I have now created a new account but have lost all my contacts.

  2. All of a sudden my hotmail windows live account has been blocked, I am unable to clear it because they keep using an email address I have not used for many years, so I can not get the code I need to unblock, what is going on and how do I get rid of this problem.

  3. forgot to say, during 1.000km brake in you should not cruise at steady rpm/speed for more than 3 minutes. Lean burn kicks in to clean cat, and combustion chamber temp increases. Goes for all new cars and bikes.

So just givher some juice at least every 2 minutes, and let others here that 2brosgiggle.gif

I am sure I heard it the other day around Wat Chalong, if it was the 2 brothers it would be far to loud for me!!

  4. Hey, just thought I'd post a few pics up, two brothers exhaust fitted and modified rear mud guard/tail tidy, must better than the factory unit.... Booked in the body shop on monday for a colour change...... Exhaust sounds awesome, not as loud on the road as it was indoors (lol) but still loud under acceleration, when cruising at steady rpm not even noticeable, should be able to cruise through the check points with no issues at all! Will post some more pics after the paint job..

How did you modify the tail, the accessory tail tidy is over 9000bht!!

  5. MCW seem to have come a long way, havent been there since 2008, had an injection issue on my 2006 and they simply said we will not touch an injection bike

They seem very professional, lots of very expensive bikes there this morning, lots of Harley's, BMW etc.

They also mentioned about the welding of the sensor bung, this needing a special machine which they have, you would know more about that sort of thing.

  6. as said 2012 has had some tweaks to engine, plenty of reports it feels less powerfull above 9k rpm.

2009-2011 plenty of bikes with after market exhaust and bunch of miles on them. No issues

Let us know what kind of price you get on Powercommander, and unless someone just got a dyno in Phuket, make sure its autotune or you/they would have no idea how to tune it

Yes cheers I will let you know after they have called, just read up on auto tune and that is what the guy from MCW was talking about, able to connect to comp and change(not me I would not have a clue how to do that sort of thing so would leave that to the experts!!

  7. Regarding a change from stock exhaust to a performance exhaust on the 2012 ER6n, this is a quote from the web: Your Kawasaki leaves the factory with fuel delivery specific to its stock application. When you change any of the components relating to the fuel system (e.g. exhaust system), you will need to change the way your Electronic Control Unit (ECU) manages your fuel delivery.

Knowing nothing about bikes other than driving them this is what common sense was telling me, also confirmed by MCW(Phuket town this morning, not changing the ECU settings or replacing for a power commander will eventually cause engine problems, MCW are finding out for me how much they can supply the Arrow exhaust system for and also cost of any other changes to the fuel delivery etc

Personally I would not be happy having a performance exhaust fitted without tuning the engine etc.

  8. in a perfect world, yes

when my 2008 Honda Accord had worne out brakes a couple of months after delivery discovered at scheduled maintance, it was a weeks wait to get new

Thailand is obviously not part of a perfect world lol

Still a wonderful place to livewai.gif

    Absolutely!!!

  9. Okay I understand the light bulb thing, but if they are selling 2012 bikes they should already have bulbs etc in stock at the shop, it is possible for bulbs to go even on a new bike!!

  10. There is a very good fishing shop in Patong, coming from Simon Cabaret turn right at the crossroads, follow this road, approx 2 kms on the right hand side, nice people in this shop and sell just about everything..

  11. to bad you didnt get a kawasaki

Excuse me, are you telling me that Kawasaki in Phuket provides a reasonable service? I have just been there to get some parts of the carburetor of my ZX150R replaced. They had to order the parts, ok no problem here. But since the "repair" the engine got no power and swallows gasoline like crazy. I guess it is just wrong tuned, so I went back to the place. It took me about 15 minutes talk until one of the guys agreed to take a test drive. When he came back he said "everything ok" and they refused to get the fingers dirty on the bike. I went back over the hill to Patong in first gear, normally third. Guess they will never see me again. :-[

I do not understand this country at all, a country with millions of motor bikes, and it is so difficult to get decent service and get the parts you want, I too went into Kawasaki the other day and asked to buy a spare sidelight bulb for my soon to arrive ER6n, answer "no have" my immediate thought was <deleted> hell you are a dealer why have you not got spare parts, had to order it, 1 week wait!! I simply want to change the sidelight color to blue so need the original to take to another shop so as to get the right bulb.

If Kawasaki are indeed not good service wise then I am already wishing they could be as good as Suzuki Plaza, taken my Skydrive there for the last 2 years they are excellent!!!!

  12. Think I will be keeping the original exhaust, I realy can not be bothered fuffing about trying to modify a different exhaust and from what I can gather not a huge difference in performance. saving 36,000 bht also is attractive!!

Does the Akaprovic come with the bung installed?

depends on where it is sourced, which market it is intended for

all cans I have supplied come with factory bung, ready to bolt on, takes 45 minutes on 2009-2011, about 20 minutes more on 2012

    Exactumundo!!!

    Got a headache lol

The best thing to do is ask Teera if the Akaprovic they supply comes with the bung ready installed and do they connect it all up correctly, if they say no then no exhaust for me!!

    and superquietcowboy.gif

If Walker has a successful installation from Teera then it could be on again!!

  15. Are you fitting your own exhaust?

I was hoping to as I like doing that kind of stuff, but then I found out that the system I bought doesn't have a bung for the o2 sensor to fit in so I will need to get one welded to the new headers........ Should be dead easy once I find out where to buy the bung. I emailed Teera to ask if they could weld one on for me and they just said they would rather fit the whole exhaust... As long as the do it properly and fit the sensor without bypassing it then ok, should be fine, but i'm gonna check with them first for what they intend to do about it......

There's a good thread about it here: <<Not to post URL links to other forums >>

Some of the non-us exhaust have the o2 sensor bung pre-installed and they should just bolt right on

Can you let me know how you get on with Teera.

  16. Naming and shaming is illegal in TH, despite telling the truth, so can not comment on bikes, parts or work supplied by Teera

That is not the question I asked!! I asked this question, if I get the exhaust from teera along with other parts will Kawasaki fit them and at what cost?

kawasaki Phuket will fit any exhaust accepting the lambda sensor, do not know the exact cost for 2012, but max 1.000 baht

Sorry, again I am not up on all the tech side I just buy em and drive em, the Lambda sensor can be fitted by who? a lot of trouble it seems to get anything done here!!

I should be popping into Kwaka in the next few days, i'll try and ask for you.....

Does anybody know if kawasaki fits a part not for road use would that void the warranty? Road laws are different to correct engine care...

  19. tough one,

if you buy parts from them and they dont fit or work, they will blame someone else

on the other hand, if you have an engine issue and kwaker hasnt installed gear indicator, they can blame it on fiddling with ecu. same goes with echaust, they can claim lambda hasnt been connected full time

I order parts overseas, and have kwaker fit them

    so I pass

The gear tronic is a plug and play from Italy so top quality, no problem there, the exhaust and all other parts I get can be fitted by Kawasaki is that correct?

  20. According to my web search and going through Apapovic web site Teera motorcycles are the only supplier of Apapovic exhausts in Thailand, if this is the case then I assume the Phuket Branch should be able to fit and tune the ER6n to the exhaust, I am not up on the tech side of things so my question is: if the Apapovic is fitted without any engine tuning will the exhaust improve performance?

yes, approx 3-4hp at 11k rpm, approx 5-6hp at 7k rpm

I would keep Teera far away from tuning my bike, any make

I will order my exhaust through them, do you recommend they fit it or should I take it somewhere else? they also supply the many mods available for the ER6n and have already received my gear tronic Solo.

  22. This one?

thats the one I presently have on 2011 kwakergreen, but I prefere the stock indicators as the diode ones are not visible at daytime. easy to swap. it needs to be tilted far out to avoid splash on passengers back

    post-81971-0-33827800-1329013281_thumb.j

boys and toys, my mum always said the only change when boys get older is the price of their toys, she was rightgiggle.gif

Did you have your Apaprovic installed by Kawasaki? if so did they tune the engine to match the exhaust. etc

got this bike secondhand used a few days and 720km, with Akropovic installed by kwaker, but they cant tune engine in any way. for more power and fuel, you need a juice box to connect to ECU, either manual tune on dyno(no dyno in Phuket, nearest is BKK as far as I know), or autotune. both at a price. IMHO not worth it

So if you can not get the engine tuned to match the Akraprovic is there any point in getting the new exhaust other than just for looks, will you get the extra hp if you just fit the Aprapovic without tuning it?

  24. I have fished there many times, Best method is bread paste put directly on the hook, throw in a few small lumps then cast into the middle of the throw In's, watch for the slightest twitch on the line then strike and hang on!!!

Outside the restaurant or the middle part of the lake seems to be best, yes you can hire all equipment there.
