  1. @racefan, there is already a thread here about this

    http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/Tot-Adsl-Ove...ay-t247625.html

so if you go to that thread, you will see you are not alone. bloody TOT  :o

    Ooops! Sorry about the repetition.

Don't worry about that, I just wanted you to see that this is a nationwide problem. Just can't understand why it is taking the idiots so long to get it sorted, and now it's the weekend, what sort of chance is there for that to happen?

Very glad that we can connect to Thai Visa, at least we now know we are not alone  :D

  2. TOT- Thailand's Offline Technology!! :D:D

:o  And as somebody else said earlier, I'm glad to know I'm not the only one suffering with this crap outfit. Like others, I went offline with overseas sites around 10am yesterday, came back on for an hour or so in the afternoon, then it went TOTs up again, and has been ever since.

For the person who asked about TT&T, I asked two friends here in Patts yesterday, no problems at all, so it does just seem to be TOT  :D

If TT&T came out to the village where I live (and it's only 10 miles out of Patts), I would jump ship immediately and sign up with them, as would all the other farangs who live near me.

  3. If you do catch a serious bacterial or viral based disease like this you are best to take regular amounts of Colloidal Silver. It is the only product that I am aware of that has the ability to disable bacteria, fungus and virus by disabling their respiratory cell membrane - in effect it works by suffocating harmful microbes - without causing any harmful side-effects to the person drinking it. This is in stark contrast to pharmaceutical anti-biotics which try to kill bacteria by poisoning it, and often end up poisoning the patient instead!

I have found a good source of colloidal silver in Thailand here: www.colloidalsilverasia.com

    FS

Just thought I would check out this possible miracle cure (a bit like the one further up the page), and came across this in Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colloidal_silver with this particular comment: "There is little evidence to support therapeutic claims made for colloidal silver products; the risk to consumers of silver toxicity outweighs the value of trying an unsubstantiated treatment, and bacterial resistance to silver can occur; and efforts should be made to curb the illegal availability of colloidal silver products, which is a significant public health issue." .

  4. 9 months ago, this cost me 22,000B (got them down from 24). They delivered it, then came back and varnished it after I had treated the wood to prevent ants/termites.

any foundations or just set into the ground? if foundations, were they included in the price?

No foundations, just sitting on concrete blocks. Very heavy and sturdy, no chance of it falling over, unless we have an earthquake. BTW, it has survived having some very heavy farangs sitting in it! :o

  5. 9 months ago, this cost me 22,000B (got them down from 24). They delivered it, then came back and varnished it after I had treated the wood to prevent ants/termites. It's a 6 seater, and I think the price to have been very cheap compared to others I had looked at.

If you are still interested in getting one, let me know and I can tell you where I found it.

  6. Hi

Try Fairtex on north pattaya road. I cant remember offhand exactly where it is, but it is on the left as you head back towards sukhumvit. It is also a hotel complex, great badminton courts.

Hi and thanks. I know where Fairtex is but had completely forgotten about the place.

I will certainly check it out :o

Any more? I like being spoilt for choice :D

  7. Does anyone know of any facilities for playing badminton going North from Pattaya Klang?

I live out past Banglamung and currently go to the Euro Club and the Diamond Club, but they are both to the South, so would love to know if there is anything heading the other way, in Naklua for example.

Many thanks for any possible leads   :o

  8. Last July I had no ideas about computers but I wanted one as I had recently retired out here to Pattaya, and wanted email access etc for my family back in England.

Anyway, I was given the name of an English speaking guy from either Aus or NZ, can never remember which, who has been living out here for some 20 years. I met up with him, told him what I wanted, and to cut a long story short he got me set up for a very reasonable fee. He is an absolute genius, and will come out to where you live.

If you are interested in contacting this guy, let me know and I will give you his contact details.

I have to say that I visited Liberty just before meeting this guy, and you can tell who I went with, and no regrets.
