Teaching options - advice appreciated

That's a myth. What you need is at least a bachelor degree. An associate degree is therefore not enough. Completely agree. -

5 Year Teaching Licence - No certificate or card?
aidenai replied to blindbarney's topic in Teaching in Thailand Forum
In my case my school also arranged everything but after the process was done the school gave me the login and password. The site contains all your personal data, info and pictures of your current license, your previous licenses (if applicable), etc. -
5 Year Teaching Licence - No certificate or card?
aidenai replied to blindbarney's topic in Teaching in Thailand Forum
That's true. However, access to that file (front and back of the license certificate) or for that matter, access to the website KSP E-Services, should be done by you with your login and password. -

By the way. The original certificate is yours and yours only. -
5 Year Teaching Licence - No certificate or card?

I renewed my teacher license in March 2021. Still waiting for my card. -
I arrived on 4 May 2022. I had to go through a gate where a health official scanned my QR-code and checked it against the names in my passport. After confirmation, I got a logo and date stamp on the last page of my passport. Then, before passport control, an Immigration officer checked whether I had the Thailand Pass. Showing the QR-code on my mobile phone was enough.

Thanks for your reply, david143. Guess it's a problem with my ID card. No problems getting a bank account, passport, etc. but if it's an online sign-up, it doesn't seem to work. -

I cannot sign up for Khonlakreung, Paotang or Raothiawduaykan. Don't know if it's a problem with my ID-card and de first name, middle names and last name OR that the relevant computer systems don't accept the 8 xx xx xxxxx xxx ID number. -

The problem with rules, regulations and laws in Thailand is that there are only 2 options in regards to nationality. a) You are a Thai national b) You are a foreign national There are no options such as c) You are a naturalized Thai national You could try to convice the school that you were a foreign national in the past with showing your naturalization papers. It will be to their descretion to accept this. -

It even can be dangerous showing your foreign passport as Thai citizenship applicants who applied after 2009 gave their intention of renouncing their foreign nationality when obtaining the Thai nationality. -
Story Of My Thai Citizenship Application

I got my Thai citizenship in March 2016. I then cancelled my extension of stay based on employment at the local Immigration office. I also applied for a Thai passport but until last week never went abroad. In April 2022 I got my new passport as the previous one had expired. Went through Immigration at Suvarnbhumi on 26 April 2022. Face recognition and scanned the fingers of both hands and both thumbs. Got my departure stamp. No problems at all. Arrived back in Thailand on 4 May 2022. At Immigration did the face recognition and scanned only the fingers of the right hand. Got my arrival stamp. No problems at all. -

It states your name in English only and has your foreign passport number on it. -
My colleague told me today that he obtained his provisional teaching permit in March 2021 at the age of 61.
-
Yes, please. If the procedure went correctly, it must be a new rule.
-
How many provisional teaching permits have you used until now, thaitom?
