  1. They dont email and they dont call back, they dont need our money and most see us as a laod of cheap charlies that want it for nothing and we are loaded, .ive even emailed Mistubishi and Toyota and had no reply, after living in and visiting thailand for 22 years i understand it less now than i did when i arrived, bizarre

  2. It's nice of you to think of her mama and poppa but you shouldn't forget about her Thai boyfriend or husband who needs to maintain and pay installments on his new motorbike, finance his drinking, smoking and yaa baa habits, as well as support his own mia noi. I suggest you up it by at least 100% to avoid her getting beaten up too badly when he drops by blind drunk and broke again in the middle of the night.

    ROTFL my guts out,.:cheesy::cheesy:

  4. I don't get it... why join an "outlaw" club and then get upset when people call you a criminal? Never understood the appeal of dressing up like a pretend criminal... I must be missing something...

Yes, you are missing a lot of the point and like many others, believe too much of what the media sells you. People who ride bikes are generally passionate about them, but the same as with women, different things appeal to different people. You should respect that.

    Cheers,

    Pikey.

    Hi Jeff,

Sorry if you found my question disrespectful, but you didn't answer the question- why join an "outlaw" club and then get upset when people call you a criminal?

    Cheers!

    Tony

No, didn't find your question disrespectful at all. What I was getting at is that to tar every club member with the same brush and call them all criminals is wrong. Sure, there are some I expect, but as you probably know, the origins of the "outlaw" phrase was not so much in illegal activities, moreso a phrase that an AMA official used in the 50's to describe the 1% of motorcyclists who gave the other 99% a bad rep when in fact, that 1% were merely higher profile guys enjoying themselves to the max - much like some of the SSR dudes and others here in Thailand - a few beers and a bit of rowdiness. Nothing wrong with that. We're not outlaws in the criminal sense but Joe Public sometimes groups us all together much like you have done. Over the years I've learned to expect it from Joe Public but it irks me coming from fellow riders, especially when the 1% clubs pretty much keep themselves to themselves.

    Cheers,

    Pikey.

I think you wil find you cant be a hells angel unless you are a criminal ! , they are not a bunch of fun loving charity fund raisers i assure you, get your self a couple of good books on the subject, and what pisses them off more than anything is the clones /clowns that imitate them, some have been killed for wearing HA colors when not members, be aware,
  5. "...and you can import temporarily which i asked for,"

I'm afraid you lose credibility. First you go the trouble of buying a "broken" phone which you then pay DHL's high fee to deliver to you in Thailand even though you intend to send it back? This makes no sense at all. Your receipt means nothing. I can print you a new on my laser printer, complete with whatever letterhead you choose and show the thing only cost a pound and a half. It sounds very much like you tried to game Customs and lost. If I'm wrong, accept my apology. But I don't think I am.

Well you are wrong smart@ss, it was not sent on its own, it was in a 20 kilo box with other goods, that wernt queried, the actual cost of delivery was probably under 10 pounds,
  6. I don't give my Thai Lady (my wife of 15 + a few more years) any money, as she has access to OUR joint account and can take when she requires money! ;) ;)

I agree, i trust mine ( 10 years together, and she earns good money herself ) and she also has access to my ( our ) bank account, im sorry but when i read these topics like this it reads like a rental, or asking how much to pay to keep her around,.
  7. Slightly off topic ,but, i went to the box in foodland today to draw my money by uk debit card ( as i do at least 3 times a week ) and was told by a new face "go atm ".i replied i have a daily limit at the atm but with this card and my passport i can draw up to your limit, she said "cannot ". i said i can and produced a receipt i got there 2 days ago for 50k,,she still says cannot, go atm, im getting pissed off by now and say,. ( normally ) look, i come here nearly every day, you are wrong, she then just ignores me, then another guy comes up and asks for 20k, she says" atm " again, ,we look at each other and are baffled,i ask " your machine have problem " ? no she replies, go atm, talk about thick, how do these illiterate idiots get a job at a bank ?.i find it actually quite frightening, beware as this poster says, gypsys and theives can be anywhere here,.

  8. If it was a red macaw i know this pr1ck, and yes he is an arrangat @sshole, he buys a fried breakfast in soi baekow and shares it at the table with the bird, ( i have pictures ) just another of the pattaya weirdos, and i always thought these birds were smart, if that one was it would fly off and dump the <deleted>, ./( joke ) the bird was stood on his shoulder, i said "where did you get him from ",,,,the bird replies " it started off as a wart on my foot ! "

  9. Dhl do their own clearance, and you pay the driver the customs and handling charges, they are in cohoots with each other 100 per cent,.last week we had to pay in 4500 baht to a private bank account before our goods would be delivered, and not the first time,. draw your own conclusions,

  10. By now everybody knows who is behind the setup of this man. Maybe someone can check the bank transfers into the account of the immigration chief. First there were pictures than there were not, than there were movies and x rated images on a computer than they were suddenly not. What stayed was the big company that had to settle a score. the lesson: Do not do business in Thailand. When the influential see that you are doing too good, they will use any trick in the book to get you out and their hands on your assets.

Sound advice,.......".Do not do business in Thailand."
  11. For those who scoff at the insidious effects of internet addiction; it was never was claimed to be the motive here but may be construed as a contributing factor or the 'straw that broke the proverbial...' Everyone has a tipping point.

How many TV'ers have blown a fuse when their internet goes wonky? Be honest now, or should we ask your partners for their opinion?

Sorry, i cant ask mine , i killed her :(
