We've always known that. This company deserves to lose its license and be delisted from the stock exchange.

It effectively announced that it's defaulting on any contracts - their word as an honourable insurance company (lol) is now worth nothing.

Disappointing.  They have served me well for the last 10 years with class 1 motor and I have recommended them but I doubt I will now

When I order stuff from a seller through Lazada, there is a panel that comes up before you pay. It shows you the item, the price and the quantity you have ordered. At that point you have the option of altering the quantity which then alters the price that you pay. If you are happy with what you ordered, then click on pay now, followed by order confirmed, and then you pay.

On Friday I ordered a keyboard for my son's new pc. Stupidly I ordered a second one a few minutes later. I only noticed it in an email from Lazada the next day and I will have to pay for both of them. The fault was mine, and I will accept both and perhaps my son can sell the other to one of his mates.

Billd you can cancel your order any time before itis sent and that is automatic.  If it is sent you will not be able to use the automatic cancel. ( on the trackmy order page) but you can decline to accept the item.  This is recomend by lazada in their conditions.  I have a few times cancelled items with no problems.  My rule to myself is I do nt cncel if it is my mistake and it has been sent but that is just my morality, Lazada lets you do so,  If you receive the items you can still cancel but have to take photos etc.  Refunds if you have paid appear quickly in your wallet and you can either withdraw them or use them for purchases once you have activated your wallet which does need a photocopy of your pasport.

I use lazada extensively and have only had one very short problem with a seller which was very quicky fixed in my favour by lazada (It as really a 50% 50% matter who was right me or the seller.

"for me, no doubt, it's well indicated "one piece", so, no fault from the seller" Technically there may be no fault from the seller, but it is a dirty trick to confuse people. Why did the seller put a price of 257Bt on a one piece item like a packet of Smash that only serves three people? Like I said it is a dirty trick to confuse people.

Buying consists of an offer of 275 baht and an acceptance of that by the buyer. Courts in almost any country would throw out your claim as reccomended retail price is not binding. It is the price you accepted that is. Lazada did offer you the right to refuse delivery or return it and will even send you a freight voucher to do so.

It's not that it "is possible", they're issued as a matter of course, the choice is the customer's.

A reading of the dictionary definition of possible is in order.

It is possible.  Some branches offer it as a matter of course, in others it may still be possible but as I understnd the Union Bank card is the card the Bangkok Bank prefers (for commercial reasons) some ban tellers prefer not to make that choice available. Sometimes this reluctance is able to be overcome.  At other times an account at another branch of the bank may be an option).  If you also have internet bank with the Bangkok Bank that account can be added to that too so you do not have to move all your money.

I used MC to buy a 1200 item on the basis I could charge back if anything went wrong. It did! The 1200 went up to 3500plus when it hits Thai Customs. Didn't realize the item came from outside Thailand even though the supplier had a Bangkok address! Raised a dispute with MC who did the charge back. Then a avalanche of communications with  MC the supplier, the suppliers debt collector and courier involving Cincinnati, Los Angeles, Dorset, Duseldorf and Bangkok invoving requests for import and export licences and doctors certificates making a case for an item I didn't even order. In the end although I never received the item I restored the 1200 payment just to stop the barrage of e mails asking the same questions again and again. Finally found the same item in N Pattaya. Never again will I order through a website that is merely a channel to a supplier outside of Thailand. MC charge back did work but not worth the hassle. Global market place- rubbish! Always buy the item direct from the supplier ignoring intermediarys and always buy local.

Did you contact lazada who specificly say you do not have to pay customs and if asked contact them imediately.  If it is a medical item you will need to get a permissin to import from the health department which will need a doctors letter saying you need it for your own use.

OK i did it......I meant to put feet which converts to about 3050 metres by the Jepperson chart for runway 08/26

It seems the standard length that is now used in most major interantional airports and cn handle all traffic though runway density also has to be considered.

  7. I found that ther secret was watching the dough spin....if it clumps up too much it is too dry so add more water.  It should spin freely. This depends most on the type of flour used.

Use either red rose flour from Tops for a faily substantial loaf or green bag thai flour for lighter bread.

  9. My niece graduated in Geoinformatics there the year before last.  Got a job straight away and a job in her field 6 months later.  She enjoyed herself and was well cared for and actually learnt something.  It is not a Rajaphat.  It was a college of a well known university (Naresuan) and then transitioned to Independant status as the University of Phahyo.

It is however a University which tends to have modern teaching, not so much the old tenured ajarns who had got skills through who they know as some universities are full of.

That would be nice but ...

The mother can't be sued as she was not driving the car. The injured parties can take the driver to court and if found guilty (surely he would be) they could be awarded a sum determined by the court. But getting paid is another matter entirely. Seems that the Mother ain't going to help in that regard.

that may apply in other counties but here the owner can be held liable for the acts of the driver.  Probably so that all the blame can not be placed on a person hired to drive a car.

Check your Por Ror Bor to find a little about this.

  11. Go to a public hospital and see a doctor with your meds and they will supply them at very reasonable prices.  My medications in Australia were costing me $150 a year and the government several thousand dollars.  The same medicines (same brand in the case of the expensive ones) costs me about 5000 baht for 4 months supply with seeing a doctor and getting a full checkup.  The same does not apply to private hospitals.

  12. Fraudulent cheques, even those that bounce by a day are very very seriously criminal here.......s couple of years is quite common.  I was given one by a boss once, had a real job stopping the bank getting him charged.  And he was a fairly well respected business man who just forgot a few baht going out the day he wrote the cheque for.
