If you want a good cheap phone just buy a dtac lion only 6k and guaranteed in store for 18 months. I have one and have dropped it, etc. no problems. As good or better than my previous iphone and motorola.

Don't waste your time the Thai economy as well as the political situation is very unstable. Wait a year or two and see what happens. Tell her to go get another job at a good salon until then.

I personally like Rawai beach but best if you have a motorbike. The beach there is not for swimming but a few kms up the road are beautiful hidden beaches with chairs and food of course. This area is not so heavily populated and has a nice native feel to it.
Except all those "hidden beaches" are well known to the locals who use them to embark and disembark hordes of Chinese and Koreans from their speed-boats.
How can anyone recommend Rawai beach which consists of mud and dead coral at low tide, over a proper swimming beach.
Kata is beautiful, but, can get over-crowded. Karon is 4 km long and never gets packed.
I am not so sure you know what you are talking about. I have been to kata and karon and patong and krabi. Rawai is adjacent to some of the best protected beaches for swimming anywhere in the area exceeding the open tides of Kata and Karon and of course the traffic. Yes Rawai is mud with the tides going out but it is also excellent seafood and like I said if you know it there is a prime beach less than 3 km away that many people including you don't know about lol.

Simple. It was given to them by the UN. The Palestinians had the same chance, but they blew it. Israel won a bunch of wars and built a thriving country with one of the best armies in the world and a very decent economy. The truth is that no one can take it away from them.
Not quite so simple. Isreael has received massive aid both militarily and financially from the US and still does. Regarding terrorism Israel was partly created by the terrorist actions of jewish rebels trying to intimidate the British into leaving Israel. There are always two sides to a coin but you can only see one side. It takes two to tango or to tangle.

Im guessing this must have been the work of local managers trying to remove competition and saw an opportunity being that they were making false claims. There is no way KFC corporate would ever approve of such actions. Let alone make threats to food stalls without legal action even if under the table... no way! But for sure I would check into the managers of the local KFCs to investigate because this smells of typical thai mafia extortion tactics.
But as a graphic designer it pisses me off to see thais ripping off well known brands to deceive people. I would love to see those guys get fined for copyright violations. Just because it might take more than a couple minutes to come up with an original idea doesnt mean you need to rip another companies branding and ideas.
Interested to know if you have a work permit to do graphic design in Thailand? Copyright laws are often nothing more than the theft of common language.

The U.S. really needs to stop this great hypocrisy criticizing Thailand for a lack of democracy while at the same time fully supporting and even praising Saudi Arabia where women cannot even drive. In fact this strong recent support should be further questioned when we are being told that the reason the American oil industry is in trouble is because of Saudi Arabia trying to wipe out U.S. drilling by lowering the price. Interestingly, many believe the lower price is simply market manipulation in an effort to punish Russia and Iran. The recent praising of Saudi Arabia would almost make one believe the latter.

Nothing like asking a realtor about real estate roflmao. Has anyone every heard anything different from a realtor. Unfortunately a more sincere forecast would be "due to the insane number of units being built and the current worldwide economic problems coupled with the current state in Thailand sales will be bleak in 2015".
