  1. If Israel goes nuclear on Iran, the only playmate Israel has left is USA.

Who said anything - besides you - about Israel going nuclear? crazy.gif.pagespeed.ce.dzDUUqYcHZL4v7J7m

Israel can take out Iran's nuclear weapons capability with conventional weapons, and most countries in the Middle East would be thankful. Israel has done it twice before with Iraq and Syria and although there was grumbling from other Arabs, they were all (not so )secretly grateful.

Of course Israel refuses to sign the Nuclear Non Proliferation Treaty (North Korea is the other one) still playing games pretending they have no nukes when sources estimate they have over 200 as well as nuclear armed subs parked off Iran. How about some transparency from Israel?

  2. I log-off Facebook, do a phlishing/ privacy scan...4 results.

    I log-off ThaiVisaForum, do a phlishing/privacy scan...2316 results.

    I know nothing about computers.

    You tell me...

Thai Visa is no saint when it comes to cookie monitoring. However, on Thai Visa you aren't required to provide your phone number nor do you store all your family and friend and contacts as well as telling everyone what you do each day, etc. Thai Visa also does not take your info and use it to recommend you hook up with this or that person sometimes many times removed through other contacts. I wouldn't be concerned with 2000 vs 4 you can bet the 4 are selling to thousands anyway.

  3. Hi you are correct on Isan I live in Khon Kaen and the heat is just unbearable, now the end of winter and 40c no wind no rain. Had enough, we are moving to Spain. I would suggest Pattaya over on what they call The Dark Side, other side of Sukumvite nice property's cheap and quite a few falangs with plenty of little bars and eaterys. Easy to get into main Pattaya.

BangSara is a lovely place great long beach with some fab seafood places to eat and so cheap and fresh, the main fishing boat port is there, there is a real nice condo block going up and just over 1m for appartments.

I lived in Pattaya 4 yrs before came to KHon KAEN to live with my wife.

    Best of luck.

I had a girlfriend in KK so I went up there quite often for a couple years. It is very hot outside of the cool season where it can actually get chilly at times. Very little wind generally so you just sweat into a big pool of water lol. I don't really see the attraction but I think maybe it made more sense when it was cheaper. In my opinion condo rentals are higher than in Pattaya for what you get. But no mountains, no ocean, no river and only a small lake.

  4. I spent time in Hua Hin a few years ago and have spent time in Pattaya also. My thoughts on Hua HIn is it is more expensive all around, it is quieter, it has fewer activities, it is hotter and drier. Pattaya itself if overcrowded, deforested in the central area and has traffic problems. However, the flip side is plenty of amenities and easier access to the airport but about equal access to Bangkok.

Personally I think you can have the best of both worlds if you go sowewhere like Bang Saray only 20 km or so south of Pattaya. I also think you can make a good investment buying there. I would be careful buying in HH or Pattaya right now and you would be wiser waiting for the coming crash in real estate. Also consider a home on the other side of Sukhumvit in Pattaya.

Why not rent Pattaya has some great deals you can rent a house with pool for around 40k on the other side of Sukhumvit or even Jomtien.

  5. Thanks for your honesty. There is truth that there are a lot of gold diggers out there and when the money dries up things can change quickly. As you have demonstrated there are also a lot of good women here too. Problem is if they want to give you trouble they can quite easily and many are unscrupulous enough to do so.

I am curious to know if you met the first wife in a bar?

  6. Neversure and transam win the prize, wheel bearing it is ! would have thought that it was a bit early for a wheel bearing to go (15,000 km) but what do I know ? they also need to change a part on the steering rack as I get a click click click when turning the wheel to full lock, apparently 3 days wait for the parts and 1 1/2 days to do the work, told them to make sure the courtesy car is waiting me when I bring it in !

These parts wearing at only 15km is not a good sign. Probably farmed out the part to some Chinese consortium that downgraded the quality is my guess. Ridiculous to wear at these miles as they should go over 100k without these problems. And to think there is not cold weather driving either to greatly accelerate wear. I wonder how long they last in Canada?
