Unless your home country embassy still issues a proof of income document you will need proof of 12 months of transfers greater or equal to 65k baht. If applying for a non-o visa at immigration you would not be able to use the transfer option. They only accept proof of yout income from a embassy. The 800k baht would have to be in the bank on day you apply for the visa, Then during the last 30 days of the 90 day stay the non-o visa allows you could apply for the one year extension of stay based based upon retirement. They 800k baht will have to be in the bank for 2 months on the day your apply.

ubonjoe replied to AAArdvark's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
I have seen nothing about the order being extended beyond March 31. If you enter in Mardh you will get the 45 day entry. -

Advice on what border crossing too go to
ubonjoe replied to Tengtai's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
That is not correct. It is 45 days by land or air until March 31st. -
You should try the new site. Much better than the old one and even the mobile app. There is no space for the TM6 number on it.

Before registering your marriage you will need to get affirmation of permit to marry at your embassy. Your embassy will be the only place you might have to show you divorce proof. After registering you marriage immigration will only require your marriage corticate (Kor Ror 3 ) and the Kor Ror 2 marriage registry you will get when your register your marriage at a Amphoe. Edit: You can find a lot info for registering your marriage on the Marriage and Divorce forum. https://aseannow.com/forum/164-marriage-and-divorce/

After doing your first online report on the new site the only thing you to complete is your passport number and select your nationality the click for autofill. You will get a email to confirming you application with a small TM47 form as a PDF. The after your report is approved you get another email with a receipt for the report attached.
-
The TM47 you get after you do the application has spaces for them but they are not needed to do the application. Been the same since the site became available a year ago. Did mine on Tuesday afternoon and received the receipt for it about 9 o'clock yesterday morning.

Education Visa info please.
ubonjoe replied to truthfix's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
It is not a visa. It is a extension of the permit to stay the non-ed visa will allow, If attending a informal school such as a language school it will only be for 90 days. If attending a formal school such as univercity it would be a one year year extension. -
Digital Nomad Visa Query
ubonjoe replied to themanwithnoname's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
I think what you're writing about the LTR visa. It is being discussed in this ongoing topic. -
It is 5000 baht. Of course it depends upon the exchange rate the embassy or consulate is using.

Marriage extension-additional documents?
ubonjoe replied to sanook 1's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
You can leave it blank if you did not get a TM6 when entering the country. The map needed is for where you are living. Unless living where your wife's registration in the blue house book us for not may for that location is. The longer you have been married than not can smooth out the application process, -
1. The 12th is a holiday. You can go on the 13th. 2. Nothing more than your passport unless they told you to bring your updated bank book showing the 400k baht is still in the bank. 3. They would of contacted you if there was problem with your application. I don't recall seeing a report of any body that got a denial.

Using 2 Bank Accounts For Retirement Visa?
ubonjoe replied to HugoFastor's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Immigration will accept two updated bank books and will want a letter from the bank for each account. Some banks will deduct the amount for the credit card guarantee from the amount shown on the letter from the bank that could be a big problem. -
Proof of onward journey required for VOA?
ubonjoe replied to siam99's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
If you are from the US you do not qualify for a visa on arrival. You will get a 45 day visa exempt entry. For the visa exempt entry or the visa on arrival you will need a ticket out of the country within 30 or 45 days to show the airline. You could get a temporary onward ticket that you can get online for around $14
