The issue often in the UK is families who have no working person producing an income.
Many would rather rely on Government handouts / benfits to live, and pay for everything!
That's one reason why illegal immigrants much prefer to live legally and illegally in the UK.
However, don't believe this is worse or special to the UK, it is a common situtation in virtually all countries, whether advertised or admitted.
I will say though I feel sorry for low income families who work and struggle to survive.

In general I agree with you, however when i lived in a village near Nong Khai, one day I was in the Local village shack / shop, there was a group of about 4 older thais sitting there, I said hello, bought them a refill beer each, of course they were surprised and askd me to join them. Since them whenever I drop in, a beer and chair is awaiting me!
I then noticed many people acknowledging me in the village, just a Wai and nod of the head, but I felt that small gesture had now accepted me in the village.

She hit the motorbike while she was following it so close that there was no time to break .
Should she not have kept a distance for security ?
Anyway , talk is cheap ... the video shows the motorbike lying on the street only ...
She went to police and did not get the treatment she expected by the officer who claimed evidence ...
So she went to see his superior and this one ignored the missing evidence and promised " justice " to her .
Because she is thai , and the grounded victim is a farang ...?
Disgusting Bias in the ongoing farang dicrimination campaign here in Thailand .
Up to a judge to decide what is ' Justice ' , not to a policeman .
I agree with you....something not quite right here, especially as two Police Officers declined to back her up and sided with the foreigner.
Personally we have all seen bias against foreigners in Thailand in all circumstances, its a pity! Overcharging, bribery, immigration, Bank Accounts, accidents, attitude, jealousy... on and on!
There are however many good Thais!

I hate to say this....eat what you don't like, i.e. Vegs etc, drink what you don't like i.e. Water, less alcohol, do some mild exercise, as to drugs, well they may alleviate the problem, but that's it really!

Thailand "Not us! We are perfect, we excel in everything, we respect foreigners opinions and do nothing wrong!"
Sorry, but that's how it appears often!

Actually, it may be as simple as "disable" the built-in laptop mouse, so the laptop just receives info from the plug in mouse you've bought, or download the software for the external mouse.

Hi there, I have paid TV in my condo and it's not worth a shower of $hit. Of all the channels I found one speaking English and even that channel doesn't interest me. Has anyone got any suggestions for a subscription and costs which includes some sports including Aussie rules football. I'm just short of 80 years old, I'm going ok but these days I don't go out very much as I prefer the comfort of my condo. Thanks
Get a firestick with IPTV loaded, problem fixed.

BANGKOK (NNT) - Thailand's aviation sector has experienced an impressive recovery, posting record profits in 2023, driven by a resurgence in the country’s tourism industry.
Airlines and tourism-related businesses listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) saw a dramatic shift from the previous year's losses to substantial profits.
The total profit for the sector reached 31.4 billion baht, escalating to 40 billion baht when including operations of Airports of Thailand (AOT). This turnaround is a major rebound from the 21 billion baht loss recorded in 2022, which also included AOT's figures.
Leading the charge, Thai Airways reported unprecedented profits of 28 billion baht, the highest in its history and a stark contrast to the 12 billion baht loss before the COVID-19 pandemic in 2019.
Despite achieving a revenue of 161.07 billion baht in 2023, the airline has yet to surpass its 2019 revenue figures. In response, Thai Airways has announced plans for a capital increase through additional stock issuance, aiming to restore shareholders' equity to positive levels by the end of the year, with hopes to resume trading its shares on the stock market by 2025.
Bangkok Airways also reported a profitable year with earnings exceeding 3.1 billion baht, attributed to the industry's recovery, bolstered by strategic partnerships like the one with Singapore Airlines.
The collaboration, alongside code-share agreements with 28 other airlines, aims to facilitate easier travel to and from Thailand and neighboring regions.
Thai AirAsia experienced a significant turnaround, posting a profit of 2.81 billion baht in the final quarter of 2023, culminating in a total profit of 465 million baht for the year. The airline's CEO anticipates a strong year ahead, fueled by the return of Chinese tourists and new flight routes.
Thai AirAsia plans to transport 21 million passengers in 2024, aiming for a 90% passenger load factor and a 20 to 23% increase in revenue, supported by an expanded fleet of 60 aircraft by year's end.

So it would have nothing to do with voluntary bankruptcy (debt write-offs) a few years ago, ..nothing owed, nothing paid!

So last night, as per, the rowdy Russian mob were sat in the common area past 9pm, all drinking vodka out the bottle laughing the night away, whilst their kids were screaming their heads off. The noise was unbearable, it was distracting me from reading my book.
so I decided to go for a little stroll.
i walked past them, eyeballed all of them and continued walking slowly.
one of their group actually smiled at me and tried to engage with me in Russian but I just gave him a blank, angry stare back.
to my amazement by the time I got back to my room they had dispersed.
i couldn’t hear a single peep from my balcony.
usually this unruly behavior goes on till about midnight, but not tonight..
i gave the impression of a man who has had enough,
Stewing in silent anger and possibly about to call the authorities.
perhaps they got the message.
sometimes silence, a stern face and eye to eye contact is the best remedy here.
bob.
So you squared up to a group of drunk Russians, well done....and you are still here in one piece!

Yes, treat them hard, I suggest a public flogging! Then deport them in handcuffs!
That will make sure visitors to Thailand clearly understand your thoughts etc.

Messenger etc can be a problem on settings etc, quite probably your message facility is set up to send via the web, hence why it does not work.
Change settings.

This happens all the time everywhere in Thailand, they will say all it's all fixed and will not happen again.
But as we all know, they don't really care, have no interest in the care of the beaches or anywhere else.
A great shame!

If you have prostatitis, your prostate is by definition already inflammed.
Diet will not help this.
Treatment is prolonged course of antibiotics. (somewhat shorter is an identified STD is the cause)
Wrong! Sorry.
Benign enlargement of the prostate is hardly ever a bacterial infection.

I ate Norfloxacin 400 .........
1/2 tab every morning and evening until the 10 tabs were used.
Then the next month same repeat.
Worked for me, but there may be some risks involved.
But why, Norfloxacin is an anti-biotic.....prostatitis is normally not an infection
The correct recommended drug is Finasteride, which helps in early symptoms in benign enlargement of the prostate
