What about Hull?
Still open if that is what your mean.
Yes it is still open and from what I hear is still giving a good service. I use to use them before I moved here permanently and were always very efficient and a very quick service.

Renewed my retirement extension at Loei immigration yesterday and they had all the new forms which had to be filled in and a new overstay rule form all required completing and signing.

How would they get to Laos with no PP to pick it up? If it is posted back to Thailand there is no entry stamp
If there is no entry stamp it will be spotted by Immigration straight away
They holiday there and wait, one week maybe 2.

Many just go to Laos, post to relative at home, they send for new visa and then post back to Laos address, very easy, but not really legal?

In Loei only good for 1 month, so best to ask your local office, they all make up their own rules.

Basically they are too lazy, and no tea money?

I never received email approval so this morning I did my 90 day report in person at Nonthaburi. I showed the IO my online receipt and he stated that Nonthaburi did not have the computer infrastructure to handle 90 day reports online.
Oddly they gave me a new reporting date of the 23rd of April yet my retirement extension expires on the 24th of February. I have never come across this before so which date should I use for my new extension?
Nonthaburi has told others that they do not accept online reports. I don't really think it is a problem with computers. They also don't accept mail reports. It appears they only want reports to be done in person with several copies attached to the TM47 most other offices don't ask for.
Nothing odd about your report date. Just do your extension when it is due and the same for your 90 day report.
Loei immigration is just the same, it is about time all these cretins were made to apply the same rules nationwide.

Good about time.
How is it good?
Do overstayers impact on your lifestyle?
Yes they do, immigration officers are now far more annal than before and in the overstayers are criminals, illegal immigrants.

Joe, I believe that for 5000 all they can do is collect the new passport and post to you, they cannot do the actual application

If only that all applied the same consistent rules, it should not vary from office to office and often officer to officer.
