  1. I currently take a 400mg tablet called Tamulosin daily and it has kept my enlarged prostrate in good order for the last 12 years. My PSA Tests are always very good and my prostrate has not enlarged further in that time. I saw a Urologist 4 months ago and he told me that I had no problems and my urine flow rate was good. In Thailand the drug is marketed under the name "Harnal". A druggist in Bangkok on Sukhumvit Soi 15, PS Pharmacy, Google them, will post it to you at a very good price plus 100 thb postage. I hope this helps.
  2. If, and I repeat, IF the motorcycle is registered, then she should be able to use the bikes compulsory insurance for some of her bills. I think it's 100k thb Max. Then get herself out of hospital and back to the UK. I agree with other posters, the roads are too dangerous here for novices.
  3. I believe the "big" issue is the airlines will not collect the fee unless they are paid. Other issues are, 1. The insurance only lasts 30 days. 2. How does a tourist obtain medical help at a hospital? I'm sure the private hospitals will allow tourist patients without payment up front. 3. It keeps mentioning tourists and 30 days. What about the new 45 day VOA? What about expats? What about tourists with medical insurance? 4. Do the numbers quoted of patients doing a runner include migrant workers? A lot of them do runners. For me I think it would be easier for everyone to have hotels collect 10thb per day as a "room tax" which would be added to the tourists bill. Thai nationals would be exempt. I can just see the fiasco at Immigration, trying to collect 300thb per passenger. For those without Thai bait, a long line at ATM'S, maybe???
  4. I think you will find that Thai Citizens can only enter and exit Thailand on a Thai PP.
  5. I find the issue is the indicator is used to force others to give way, not as an indication of intended action on the roads.
