  1. Maybe men are just more arrogant in thinking that time is more kind to them than women? Hey, but whatever keeps you happy.. :)

You mean 2 men from a visa forum, hardly worth calling men arrogant. You and Boo must be younger than most on here so dont worry girls you wonr be going south for a few years yet, even though babies are renown for knocking a womans body badly,IN SOME CASES NOT ALL

I've got similar pictures, but with their clothes on. I went to a 50th anniversary this past May and I can tell you I'm sure happy I'm single. Life isn't fair to women when they age.

What, and you think you old men look better. hmm ok, I'll say nothing more for fear of upsetting some egos :)

We can always rely on BOO lol.Shame betting is illegal i could have won loads of money then.

Of course you are right, especialy guys with tatoos

  3. Youre absolutely correct The Mask. The Thais couldnt care less about the farang and LOS is so imbeded in the class system i cannot see it ever changing. There are BKK hi-so people here particularly around Saphan kwai and ari districts who own hundreds of homes, golf courses businesses etc etc. They do nothing except hire people to collect the rent and travel o/seas to Milan,NY and London to shop. The poor here are getting poorer and poorer every day. Its very worrying. They cannot save money anymore which is potentially dangerous for everyone. The lucky ones can pimp out one of their wives or daughters to some old codger from Europe or the US and maybe they will be enriched by his ignorant generousity.I doubt if there has ever been a bargirl (isan) that genuinely likes her farang boyfriend or husband. Its always about the money........always!!. Ask her Isan boo-a sami. He will be floating around somewhere. They always are.

  4. They are beautiful looking dogs but,for sure i would not have one,and def not 2.I have had dobbies and alsations and never had one bit of trouble with them biting, running away, fighting each other. My fear would be that a vicious dog,by the owners admittance cannot be trained to come back, now thats scary.

Sounds like the dog is bad or the owner cannot control, but based on what i have read, certainly the owner needs plenty of land to keep one.

  5. Yeah right. So you saw more daylight drug deals and acts of violence in one afternoon than I have seen in six years did you? Oh, and you managed to touch on every topical ill in Thailand, let alone Pattaya including a jetski fight (watching too much TV if you ask me).

Your lurid, fanciful account of your trip sounded like a simplistic piece of creative garbage to me. Or did you also report all the crimes - paticularly the shocking allegations concering public peddling of children on Beach Road - to the police station at Soi 9 and do us all a favour?

    Or not....

    WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

6years in Pattaya and i have never witnessed this. Are you talking abut beach rd in the afternoon or evening, where you trying to pick up a cheap, std ridden old womanfor sex.You can be sure that all of us living in Pattaya would have reported ANYBODY trying to sell kids if thats what you implied and you are not a nice man to have walked past this.

I must be walking around with my eyes shut,if you have seen all this in a matter of hours/minutes,but i think this is horse manure garbage.

  6. I am as happy as a pig in shxxxxxxxxxxxxx

i must pick mates who are happy too, except one guy who is being stitched up by gf and he has a baby too so a bit difficult.I always look forward to going out to see friends as we never stop laughing.Life is brilliant and my mates are great.possibly about 25 mates too

  7. My older brother went back to live in uk with his wife and her daughter, age 15 at the time. She went to normal school and was unable to converse much in english so she started to be friends with another thai, who had got friends with an iranian girl, african, polish etc etc.Now she is saying she doesnt like english boys and girls because they dont mix with them, now sort that lot out.

  8. SBK has it bang on. My husband (Thai) & I always agreed that if we had any daughters we wouldn't live in Thailand full time & would at the very least make sure senior school education onwards would be in UK & not Thailand due to the inherent attitudes that young girls & women are subjected to in Thailand. This is just a personal opinion but one my Thai born & raised husband agreed with.

That said, a few years in Thailand would probably be good for her to connect to her thai roots as well as giving you a chance to experience the real Thailand & all the problems it has & you WILL come against. So if you an afford to move over for a few years without losing your UK assets then go for it. If anything it will give you a more honest view of the country & people. :)

If i can be allowed to post on here.(if not delete please Boo)\

Are you basing your kids education in UK against a high quality international school or a government school, and does your kid go private school in uk or a government one. Also if his daughter finished up as a lawyer or top doctor then there wouldnt be any INHERENT ATTITUDES,so sorry but i dont realy understand the logic in your post.If the op understands then thats all that matters realy

    thank you

  9. What I would like to know is why farangs who don't want to pay overrated prices are called 'cheap charlies'

Not all farangs who live in Thailand have a lot of money, some work here on low wages and some are here because they can have a better standard of living in Thailand than they could in their own country with the income that they have.

Thanks for the info about Banglamung hospital and I will also be going there next time I need work doing.

    Hi Icequeen

Because some farangs are snobs and hi-so wannabees, thinking about money, money money all the time, not knowing that there are plenty of farangs who considerably wealthier than them but dont boast.

  10. 1rule for street fighting, take the guy down by ANY means,as quick as possible and leave very quickly too.I know some of you will come on here and say only a coward will strike with a bottle but assume the other guy will have something to strike you with, and i plan on keeping my teeth for as long as possible.

There is no easy answer when someone,thai/farang puts you in a corner and you know this is it for a punch up,one has to be focused but determined to be the one standing,no matter what it takes. One poster commented about liking kicks to the legs, now thats a great way to take a man down and get the eff out of there, hurts like hel_l.

  11. Maybe its you who is the crazy one.Anywhere in the world we chose who we have as friends and Thailand is no different.I have many expat friends here and long time tourists, and if they were horrible people then i would not be friends with them.Very rich and average friends all mix in and iw ouldnt swap them for you at any cost.

    bye bye

Not sure who you were talking to but of course you are right. Generally we pick friends on the basis of them being like us and having similar opinions and values. That would mean that horrid people gravitate towards other horrid people, something we will all have seen happen.

Gad you have so many friends.

Thanks Kev,and the post was for the op.Good friends are worth their weight in gold and makes living very wonderful.also i think i am a great guy but have a bad temper sometimes, but not to friends.A good judge of character is useful in a strange country too and that includes my thai friends, but overall my 6 years stay has given me realy good mates.
