[Large Jade Buddha For Sale]

I have seen a large stone/jade buddha for sale in Bangkok that I would like to courier back to the uk.

Firstly is it legally ok to take this out of the country? I am sure it is origionally Chinese as it is the round faced buddha.

Secondly, if it is ok to send back to Europe can ayone reccomend a courrier. I am guessing, but it must be around 50-60 kilko

Timescale is not important, i am guessing with the weight that boat is the answer

[10 Day Retreat Near Trat]

Hi

Does anyone know of any centres near to Trat that offer the 10 day retreat?

I am new to buddhism and have been wanting to attend a course now for a few years...

From what i have read the centre in Surat thani is a goos one, Wat Suan Mokkh.

Do you think it is a good idea for a begginer to attend this centre? or do you know of an equally suitable one near the South north East near the cambodian border.

[Extending A Two Month Tourist Visa]

It is my first time using the two month tourist visa and looking to extend the visa for 30 days a krabi immigration office.

Today we were told by an expat that you can only extend the two month visa by 7 days now! Does anyone know if this is true??

Hopefully you can still get the 30 days?
