You are aware ozone is a real danger and should not be used in any area you breath?  Ion generators (which do not produce much or any are much safer if trying to clean smoke from air).  Or active filtration with HEPA filter or even 3M Filtrate sheets on AC.

I am aware of both the dangers and the benefits, thanks. ????

I have been informed  by a friend in business that a directive has come down from on high that the sidewalks be cleared, as similar has happened in Bangkok.

I just heard about this happening in Thailand on a Netflix documentary called "Street Food (Bangkok, Thailand)."  They said the vendors were encroaching on taxpayer's space and called the vendors "leeches."

I've seen them in HomePro but any electrical specialist should be able to supply.

What do you intend powering from the beast? You need to match the size of the converter to the load it's connected to.

It's an ozone generator...  it says:

    Voltage:  110VAC 50/60Hz

    Power: 10W

  4. I've used this clinic and was happy with the service and response time. They will email you the results.  It was cheap to me, but I don't live here, just visit a lot. ????

You can see a price list of their bloodwork here (you don't have to do the health checkup program to have your bloodwork done):

  5. My 78 year old mother would like to visit Thailand for just under 90 days from the US.  What does she need to do for a visa?  I originally thought she could just show up and get the 30 day freebie and then go extend it, but through reading it seems that's not allowed.  Is there a 90 day visa for tourists?  Or just 60?  If her ticket shows her being there just under 90 days, what does she need to do...

    Thanks!!

  6. I'll be traveling to Phuket this month with my best friend and two of my children (9 years old). We'll only be there for 3 nights. Was going to go to Phi Phi, but with arrival times at airport and departure times at ferry it just wasn't working out to maximize our time there.

Here are the things I'm looking for in a place to stay:

    • Not in Patong or like areas
    • Not terribly far from airport - far enough to not be bothered by it, but not so far that kids are annoyed at the drive
    • Near the beach (one that you CAN swim in)
    • Access to snorkeling either right off the beach or nearby tour
    • Would love to have access to cheap massages - on beach or otherwise - not ridiculous resort prices
    • Don't care about "luxury", but safe accommodations
    • Reasonable price - less than $100/night would be nice
    • Street vendors nearby so we don't have to rely on restaurant at hotel/b&b/whatever

Any recommendations are most appreciated. :)

  7. 1. Is it a good school? Good, serious teachers who aren't just in it for the money and teach well?

    2. Has anyone been through the visa process with them? They say on their website they give a one year visa. Then in the FAQ it says something about having to do something at 90 days but it's unclear if that is every 90 days or what. Any insight into that whole process would be extremely helpful.

    3. Any idea of cost for a one year course?

    Many thanks!
