  1. I do not believe that a poll of 0.001% of the people can be seriously considered a representative sample. Certainly not a Super Poll
  2. My Thai wife had her first vaccination at the beginning of June in Samui, where we have lived for some 18 years. She was given an appointment to return for her second jab between 23 and 28 June. She went back to the same place that she had the initial jab and so decided to go on 24th June 2021 at around 13.00 hours. She got there (at the university in Chaweng) and was told by the staff outside to go away and come back another day as they had run out of vaccine. She had some friends who she was fairly sure were inside so she rang them and they said there was plenty of vaccine and the nursing staff were sitting idly inside as the staff outside were letting nobody in. She went back and they asked why she had come back. She told them she spoke to someone inside and there was vaccine. They were abusive but she is also quite strong and told them she wanted to check inside for herself. She got in and had the jab and as there was no queue she was in and out in 30 minutes including the mandatory rest period afterwards. As she was leaving she asked the people outside why they told her there was no vaccine left – they would not speak to her. <deleted>? Just a bunch of jobsworths So many times, particularly recently, I despair with this country. When I first moved here in 1996 it was not perfect but it was so much better than now.
