  1. Check with Sabai Technology and they will give you the best response. The owner lives in Thailand and they build their own OS. I have one and I do streaming etc. and have a daughter that I can block out VPN on her computer so they will help you with any questions about the quality of signal in Thailand.

    Good luck

  2. I have run into a brick wall with getting a VPN router. Even the ones that I try and order from the states wont ship to Thailand. Linksys E 2000 3000 4200 and even Buffalo routers.

    Any suggestions

  3. I use the shop on Naklua road to buy my resin and matting, head up Pattaya-Naklua road until you get to the intersection to turn right to the post office (don't turn right), its just through the lights by about 50m to 70m on the left hand side, small looking hardware type store with generators/air compressors/welders out front.

Used it today and not a huge variety but enough to get simple jobs done.

    Thanks for the heads up

    Cheers, Admiral Ken

Do you have their number? I live in Chiang Mai and need to order some Acetone and resin
  4. What exactly is a plaster? Is that something we Americans call a "band-aid"?

If so, they're available at all pharmacies, although you they can be cheaper at some. One of my favorites is the Peera Pharmacy across from the Montri Hotel near Thapae Gate (it's now known as the Hotel "M", but all the locals still call it the Montri). It's across the street from the hotel, the first pharmacy on the left as you walk from Thapae Gate past Black Canyon coffee. I have a spot on my left foot where I often get a blister because of a long-standing bunion problem. I use a band-aid nearly every day and the two wonderful ladies who run the Peera Pharmacy sell just the right band-aids, in boxes of 30, for a reasonable price. They're also great people to know for your pharmaceutical needs.

Don't know about double-edge razor blades. Hubby long-since switched to disposable razors and they have top quality disposables at a price that's cheaper than Tesco Lotus, Tops and certainly Rim Ping.

Plaster and in Plaster of Paris is what we used as little kids to make stuff in school. Used to be used to make casts for arms and legs but now its high tech with impregnated gauze they just wet and wrap. Schools still might use it and the most use for it was patching walls and the liquid form or mug is used to tape sheet rock.

I just want a small container of the powder for another purpose.

    Thanks

  6. I can suggest you go to Varie and talk to them. My daughter is now in 1st grade in the English Program and she really enjoys going to school. There are many schools for foreigners in CM but I can just recommend that you look at this. Two swimming pools and plenty of activities for the kids

    Cheers

  7. Im raising rabbits in Chiang Mai and can give you suggestions however you seem to be constricted to raising them indoors.

Not a good idea but along with my rabbits which I have in cages they are on our patio and soon will be under the eves for our roof and wastes go into a worm bin that i constructed out of PVC and wire.

If your interested just respond to my inputs

    Cheers and good luck

  8. This thread covers the 90 day reporting to different immigration offices but nothing Ive seen refers to airport immigration. I would be 2 days over my 90 day reporting when I fly out of country next month. Does anyone know if the airport immigration rules are the same? I certainly dont want to stand in line for my 90 day renewal then two days later fly out of country.

If anyone has tested this or knows the answer please let myself and everybody else know

    Thanks

  9. Always get a good response to my questions without much SPAM from the bored members. My 90 day plus/minus 7 days visit to immigration is due on the 16th of February. I have a flight out of country scheduled that day. Now when I go through immigration at the airport does anyone with experience know if there would be a problem given I am still within the 7 days grace????? I would hate to be delayed and miss my cheap airasia flight. I have a retirement visa now on its second year and most of the time I fly out within the 90 day period but this time its close BUT still within the grace period.

Here it is so hope to get some good inputs of course the second thing to do is renew my 90 days at immigration which is always fun finding a place to park and wasting part of a day.

Thanks you you that are in the know

  10. I will be flying out of country on my multi entry visa 91 days after my last arrival. Knowing you are allowed +-7 days for renewal does anyone know if airport immigration is really aware that we have the plus? Just want to save part of a day doing a renewal if I can just fly out instead. All my responses have been good with no rubbish included so hope I get the same response on this one Cheers
