Pull the hard drive. processor and memory and ship it ems and scrap the rest. Even the post will see its a desktop case and you will pay more altogether in shipping and fees than its worth.

Alot of very good comments and some unrealistic ones. Until you look at the system as a whole you cant even begin to suggest any meaningful changes. From the top down, admin and teachers are all educated from the same system that is currently failing the children of thailand, so how do you expect any change from them ??? Add in the " We are Thai mentality" and you will not see any change for maybe 2 or 3 generations, maybe. There is rice in the fields and fish in the pond my friends.Honestly if I had children here I would work 5 jobs back home before I allowed them to be educated in thailand.

Dont even bother with thai store websites, they are never updated. Yes the panel I saw for 5900 was in the store. I think they are just trying to dump the turds on someone at any price. The same size mono panel was 8900. The problem again is I question at those prices the quality of the silicon in them for longevity and efficiency. Its good the chinese have dropped the prices of panels so dramatically in the last few years but they have also sacrificed quality for mass produced low cost items like everything they build. Again you have to justify the cost of your system somehow, just saying I want to be green doesnt cut it as your cost estimates for what you want will buy a hell of alot of electricity. And for you wishful thing greenies you should research the pollution created making these so called green technologies before cutting down other power supplies.

Dosent matter who the provider is all lines lead to the same antiquated overloaded system, so yeah they have to manage their networks by limiting bandwidth at times. I know two true corp engineers (lol) whose job is to sit and watch a computer and reroute traffic when their lines reach saturation (should be automated and is to an extent). My home city back in the states has more fiber in the ground than all of thailand I would be willing to bet. Just the way it is when you dont invest in infrastructure but only tout and sell (scam) high speed adsl,3g, 4g (lol) without any way of actually providing it. Not like anyone can do anything about it when you are a gov monopoly.

Those 280 watt poly panels at amorn are down to 5900B now, but I still wouldnt buy them (they are a massive size you wont get many on a condo). You also have to consider without a tracker on your panels those watt calculations above are pipe dreams for a days input to your system due to the suns arc running across your panel. If I was going to burn the money for a system I would go for a thin film panel system (less heat build up=more efficient) with a water system behind it to scavenge the heat and feed a solar hot water system, it would be much more expensive but at least you would get some return on your investment.

I think too many people forget efficiency ratings in the different panel types and also inverters. Im betting that 280 watt panel that you are looking at is the one sold here at a cheap price which is a poly crystalline cell which is the most inefficient panel to use for converting sunlight to energy. Thats why quality solar panels (mono crystalline and thin film) and inverters (not cheap chinese) are usually not cost efficient in the long run.

Okay the gang mentality of thai visa rears its ugly head as usual with nothing to back up their claims of knowing technology. http://www.whatsag.com/ I suggest you read the second to last paragraph which will tell you why trues marketing will make them lots of money without providing any service close to lte speeds outside a few switches located inside bkk. It has taken 10 years for thailand to implement 3g which still is worthless outside major cities due to lack of infrastructure, yet you claim 4g is here now lol. I suggest you read the local papers and view the articles of massive complaints by customers to the ntsb on 3g speeds not living up to advertised claims made by the 3 telecoms here in thailand. Your 20k baht phone is an expensive brick. Enjoy it. Stupid is as stupid does.

I think but not sure her problem will be switching hospitals without gov approval. They will just look at her case as she is getting treatment where she is now, not their problem it isnt working. Thailand has cheap health care yes but the quality is very low unless you are on a private insurance plan or can afford better treatment. They just dont have the budget or resources to service 65 mil. people without cuttiing corners and services. My wife is a nurse of 22 years and most of the time I will treat myself instead of waiting 3-4 hr.s in a que just to be handed a bag of worthless pills. But good on you for trying to help, having hiv/aids in thailand is a major social stigma that usually ends up with the patient being quietly put away someone out of sight and mind.

Unfair dismissal in thailand for a farang ? No such thing i'm afraid to say. You will get no justice just a black mark on your record, let it go and move on if you want to stay working in thailand. If I had a baht for every farang teacher screwed over by the system in thailand I would have more money than taksin.

I suggest some of you touting true 4g service in thailand learn a little more about 4g lte. Its a totally different chipset in the phone using ip packet technology with the infrastructure to use it which thailand doesnt have. They cant even get 3g speeds except in very small service areas with the antiquated telecoms system they are trying to use to sell (scam) to their customers.

First off, the school did not GIVE HER THE MONEY ! She signed an agreement of some sort to obtain this money, until you get a copy of this agreement SHE SIGNED you are wasting your time and money talking to lawyers or admin or the teachers co-op. After you get the copy of the agreement have it translated into english, sorry but thais will bend the truth to fit the illusion they need to avoid losing face. I have thai teacher friends and my wife is a gov employee, one of the perks of being a gov employee to make up for the low salaries are perks such as low interest, no down payment, long term loans that are very easy to get with just a signature of the borrower and a guarantor (they all do it for each other). It is basically a form of indentured servitude, as you can not leave your job and take the loan with you, it must be paid back in full plus interest. Another problem is most times they do not pro rate the interest, if you can pay off early you will pay the full amount, this deters others from doing the same thing, thus creating a possible large turnover in employees. I have known many thais in the same situation that are stuck in jobs but have spent the money borrowed and are now slaves to the system.

I would like to challenge all you fossils saying how bad w7 is to be more specific in your complaints comparing xp to w7. Come on lets have some concrete examples/problems instead of your lame non-existent arguments about upgrading to a much better operating system. Maybe the world should never advance computing because you are unable to learn something new.

^ Been watching too many youtube videos, forget teaching online, thailands internet isnt reliable enough to have online teaching especially from the village. And if it was so easy making money off web clicks everyone would be doing it lol. What you can do is setup a "language training center" under your wifes name then get a wp for you. There are capitol requirements that can be met quite easily (not going into that)for the business issuing wp's. Being a training center cuts out the MOE as you are not a school under their juridiction (no degrees or certs offered) just another business.

Yes being thailand I can expect leaking units but sorry not in my home country. The epa would be on you so fast for leaking refrigerant into the atmosphere your head would spin. You cant even buy refrigerant without a license now and they keep records of purchases.

Go home dude, there are so many traps waiting to snare you on this kind of deal. Agencies are well know not to deliver on their promises and pay here in thailand. What if you get sick or have an accident ??? Being broke-homeless in your home country is much preferable to being broke-homeless in thailand. I get the feeling partying and pussy is really all you are interested in rather than actually being a teacher, you might want to think about the school and kids involved here before yourself.

An air con system is a sealed refrigerant unit, if you need refrigerant you got a leak period. I have a small one somewhere I cant find unless i tear the whole system apart, screw that, I bought a set of gauges and a tank of gas from do home for 2200 baht, add a little when the unit starts fading, should last me quite a few years if the system does.

Doesnt matter how much they spend to upgrade their networks until TOT/Cat starts putting more fiber in the ground. Any telecoms system is dependent on the backbone of the infrastructure, that being the main trunk lines. A recent thread about 4g by true which I got called a troll on is just another example of being sold something that doesnt exist except in sales numbers, this is why I still use a 690 baht samsung phone, the big 3 who depend on cat/tot for their bandwidth have no way to provide me with service to convince me to buy a smart phone any time soon.
