  1. More likely to die in a Taxi from the airport to the hotel. How many mass shootings in Thailand? I remember only this one and the one in Korat in the last 10 years.
  2. My Daughter born in Thailand has a UK and Thai passport, will she need a letter of consent to travel to the UK? If so, where do I get this letter? Thanks in advance.
  3. Obviously alcohol fueled, my neighbour plays Morlum music at 7am, I tolerate it,and would never dream of going around there and killing her. Obviously the Thai lost his temper and is now going to jail. Good luck.
  4. The quote you posted on your reply, from my OP, was a copy paste from the UK Thai Embassy website, I was just showing conflicting number of days on the UK Gov website and The Thai Embassy website, it's nothing to do with me, I am going for 4-5 weeks, thanks for the reply though. https://london.thaiembassy.org/en/page/84498-faq?menu=5d6636ce15e39c3bd0007350
  5. Thank you kind Sir, I am flying before then, so 45 days it is. Thanks.
  6. London Thai Embassy website says 30 days, Uk Gov website says 45..please someone help me! 1. I would like to go to Thailand for vacation for 2 weeks. I hold British passport. Do I need a visa? Nationals of the United Kingdom and over 40 other countries are eligible to travel to Thailand, for tourism purpose, with the exemption of visa and are permitted to stay in Thailand for a period of not exceeding 30 days. Therefore, you do not need a visa. Visas British passport holders arriving by air or land can enter Thailand for 45 days without a visa (a ‘visa exemption’).
  7. Me thinks he had a Thai massge expert in the room, when he went for his shower she made off with the loot, his story smells like a rat. Lesson learned maybe ????
  8. I bet he got really drunk and went skinny dipping with a bar girl, and got his stuff nicked, happened to a friend of mine.
  9. No law, but plenty of evidence it's not a very good idea.. One in three drivers get behind the wheel in flip flops – a shoe which appears to cause 1.4 million road accidents or near misses every year. In a poll, 27% of drivers admitted driving in flip flops had caused a mishap, and 11% said the shoe had got stuck under pedals. https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/flip-flops-wedged-pedals-caused-7936313
  10. I understand fully what you are saying, what you can't seem to grasp is that just because something which hasn't happened to you doesn't happen to anyone, like I said I hired a car in Mexico once through Dollar Car Hire Company and the brakes failed..it does happen. I am fully aware of the excuses Thai's make, I have been going to Thailand for 25 years and I hear all sorts of excuses. The driving test is a joke, my Thai partner passed with 10 hours driving, I taught her more than the Driving school did, she is very good driver now. You must get a new keyboard.
  11. I am guessing you don't get what I am trying to say do you, I have had brake failure before, just because it hasn't happened to you doesn't mean it doesn't happen at all. Get yourself a new keyboard your exclamation mark key is stuck.
  12. Just because you haven't had brake failure, doesn't mean to say no one ever has, some people get hit by lighting you know...
  13. Because of the loose flimsy design, it's just not a good idea, they where half hanging of his feet, with him on the phone and his flimsy footwear I thought I was going to be another stat for the Thai roads..????
  14. Got a Grab Taxi to the airport yesterday, driver making calls the whole journey, and wearing flip flops, I left a bad review..
  15. Nothing has changed in that photo. Maybe less people wearing Bio hazard suits, much the same when I arrived in November last year even with the Pre flight PCR..
  16. The review score for Mor Chana app on the play store, is the lowest I have seen on any app created, not fit for purpose, why don't they fix it?
  17. The Morchana app has a Google store review score of 1.5, it didn't work in November and it looks like it still isn't fit for purpose, so what happens if you can't upload your Antigen test results to the site after the new rules start?
  18. Second day PCR scrapped and the medical insurance was lowered to $20,000, my Thailand Pass arrived in 9 hours, they are recommending apply at least 7 days before departure,,
  19. Just read above posts, I am just going to cancel the Day 5, I booked a refundable hotel. I do remember getting a Lateral Flow test given to me free of charge by the lovely Thai nurse when she did the Day 1 RT PCR last November, she said "check yourself on day 7", didn't tell me what to do if I was positive though!
  20. Just got my Thailand Pass with Day 1 and Day 5 RT PCR checks, does that mean I will have to do it again after March 1st? or do I still meet requirements? or do I just just cancel the Day 5 RT PCR and Hotel stay?
