Some of housing was disguising, and she wouldn't even consider staying there.  I don't remember her liking any of the dorms that she saw.

When at Uni, she visited the housing and as expected, party party, drugs & alcohol, which she was not into at all.

This is one of my concerns.

My ex-gf was told by a university official that it was policy that all first year students stay on campus.   I asked why - it is policy, replied ex-gf; no more discussion was permitted.

As I am not Thai, I would not have accepted this response and would have questioned the official myself. I am not worried if they lose face.

Furthermore, when my daughter questioned the "teacher" about staying in the dormitory, the first question she asked was "Where do you live now?". Asking this leads me to believe that campus housing is not mandatory.

I had intermittent flickering from the same style lights "Eve" brand. I swapped them for Toshiba Shining and the problem went away.

Yes I am rapidly concluding there are some really bad quality LEDs out there.

I am also having issues with Philips stick LEDS. Some are giving up in less than a year.

I would change the light for another brand before poking around in the consumer unit yourself. Toshiba or Lamptan would be my advice.

  3. My daughter has enrolled in the local university (10 minutes from home), but their Faculty of Education is on another campus 15 minutes away. However, there is a shuttle bus to and fro several times a day. Now, she has been told that as she is a first year she has to stay in the university housing on the Education Campus. The only reason the teacher can provide as to why, is that sometimes there are activities that go on until late.

As our home is only about 12km away from the Education Campus, I am calling BS on this and I think it is just a money grab.

Not just any old exercise will do, notably ones that somehow mimic the motion that created the injury. Gotta find the right exercises and do them correctly.

I have watched many physical therapy YT videos and they point towards  a problem with my Subscapularis muscle. However, i will let a specialist take a look before i make things worse.

  5. I threw a ball 2 months ago and hurt my shoulder. The doctor took X-rays and said i have sprained/stretched the muscles. I am still having some aching pain and If i am not careful getting dressed,it will hurt for a few hours.

So, I am looking at getting some more tests done to see if i have torn something. Would an ultrasound do, or should i get an MRI? Any idea of the cost?

I am East/South East of Bangkok.
