Yes, Traubert. We all know you have a fondness for authoritarian regimes.
See a shrink and talk about your childhood.

I've just lost minutes of my life reading about how dumb people work out if someone is a scammer or not.
It's really not that hard to figure out.

I knew a girl who was very rich and liked to show off her wealth. She was studying at uni so I asked what her parents did for a living. She said they were "rice millers".
Who'd have thunk the disparity between a rice farmer and a rice miller could be so big?

Even a child knows to fess up to their blatant wrongdoing when asked more than once.
This whole thing was proved. The company who exposed it also stated that the army’s operation to use fake accounts to promote the government was “cheerleading without fans”.
My missus has always been too apathetic about Thailand’s political climate. But the more she reads about the army and elite here, the more she’s getting p***** off. The ones in charge here are just becoming more and more shameless. They will be the architects of their own demise.

When I turn on my tv, it sometimes goes to cable tv because my missus was watching it before. And 9 out of 10 times, it’s some ridiculous soap opera where people are screaming at each other and physically attacking others. The screaming of the males in these shows really grates on me.
If you were new here and someone told you to watch the soap operas to get an idea of Thai culture, you’d think it was a society full of drama, violence and sex crimes.

You must promise to throw them away after you've used the rest of the plant.
I'll be sure to burn mine in small quantities to make sure.

I saw an ambulance with big alloy wheels and Hello kitty stickers on it driving with big plumes of black smoke coming out of the exhaust.
When I see things like this, I do wonder if the government is really serious about this problem.

Ah, the old CCP tactic of projecting. Before people can process what it is that you're doing wrong, just blame someone else for the same thing. The classic ruse of a spoilt adolescent.
While the CCP gave us this horrible virus, it's the freer countries who have freedom of expression and ideas who are finalizing the vaccine. I wonder if there's a correlation being allowed to express and think more for yourself and innovation?

While the outside world is putting her on a special list for incredible people, the Thai regime is putting her on the pizza list.
Seems the regime will sink as low as possible not to give an inch.

Most of this kind of behaviour stems from being unqualified to do the job and inconsistent discipline.
I see it a lot with parenting. Being too lazy to keep on top of keeping your kids in line so you just let it slide most of the time. That builds up until the parent or teacher explodes in a rage. Anger is released for a while and then allowed to build up again. Both child and parent are worse off for this.
People ask me why I don't have kids. I always tell them I'm not against the idea, I just can't be bothered to be a parent. Most look at me dumbfounded while they try to process what I just said. I explain further that having kids is a full-time job. You have to be willing to put the work in; otherwise, what's the point in having kids? So they can annoy other people?
Having kids can be easy. Taking care of them is a whole other thing. Either do it properly or don't do it at all.

Too late. When I first first read it was ketamine, I told everyone I knew and we all collectively panicked which caused confusion and distress for the public.
Who do we file charges against for this fake news that was input into a computer? I hear this kinda crime is very serious.

I wonder what they would be saying if it was their own daughters had been sexually harassed
The culprits most definitely would be dealt with, but they'd still be lecturing their daughters (and other's) on how to dress so as not to encourage lechers.
And the victim blaming cycle would go on and on. These people are beneath contempt.

PPRP MP Pareena Kraikupt said she had made a police complaint against the woman for dressing as a student, when in fact she was a model and influencer.
And will she be filing a police complaint against that bunch of middle-aged men who dressed as ‘good students’ who are in fact just a shower of <deleted>?

Lazada is an awful website with an awful layout. Don’t you just love when you type something in and it says “we’ve detected some unusual activity” so you have to slide the bar. And then is often the case you have to keep sliding the bar ‘til you’ve done it perfectly. And then, to top it all off and p*** you off some more, you have to reenter what you typed in in the first place.
A website like Amazon is far superior in every way.

What's the point if he resigns? It's not like his replacement is going to be any more effective. Or progressive.
True, but it will be nice not having to accidentally see his face on tele or hear his tenuous grasp on the Thai language anymore.
He grates on me in every way.

I thought the rumour was he’d be pushed out at the beginning of December for living on an army compound even though he’s ‘officially’ not in the army anymore.
Apparently it’s a way of saving face for him. Not sure how being kicked out of office for a very basic oversight is saving face - just confirms that with oversights like this that he was grossly inept and should never have been allowed to be in his position.

Well yes, I assume it's because I'm a foreigner as I don't see it happening to Thais. It's obvious we are often treated better in certain situations. Anecdotal, yes, but undoubtedly true.
Not sure why you picked up on that rather than the poster who said Thailand does nothing to make things easier for foreigners when it clearly does.
Ho hum.Because I’ve never experienced anything like that in a bank. That’s why I asked you and you gave a flippant answer.
As for being given special treatment, that’s great if you’re a tourist. I’m not a tourist - I live here. I don’t want special treatment. Just fair.

Education Ministry’s ‘haircut enforcer’ becomes unwitting target of students’ anger
in Thailand News

So let these poor parents decide what’s the best length for their kids’ hair. Not teachers with a superiority complex.
Back when I was a kid, I always had long hair as my mum was frugal and didn’t wanna pay for haircuts. The price of shampoo was never an issue as you can buy large containers of shampoo/body wash for next to nothing.
