  1. Wow, malibukid, that was so clever how you interjected one of your political views into the discussion on a topic that has nothing to do with said political view. That must of used up a lot of your brain cells. Is your brain still smoldering from that incredible wit?

  4. "...criminality linked to foreigners in Thailand which was damaging the image of the kingdom and which posed a nuisance to the public." You can also simply substitute "Thai Police" in place of "foreigners."
  5. Thanks for your reply. Yes, I have shipped scooters before in Thailand via the postal service, but since I need to move other stuff as well (as mentioned in my original post), I'm looking for a moving company. That said, I have found a moving company since I posted my original post. Thanks again for your reply.
  6. Does any have a recommendation for moving company from Chiang Mai to Phuket? I'm looking for someone who has used a company and found them to be a good company. I'm needing to move 2 scooters, a standing room fan, a medium sized room air filter, and maybe a few boxes. Thank you.
  7. Can anyone recommend a breast enlargement clinic in CM – that you have had actual experience with, e.g., your GF has had experience with? PLEASE, no funny comments, no anti-surgery comments, etc. This is a serious inquiry. I would appreciate a recommendation from experiential knowledge. Thanks.
  8. I just received a Click 125i from Nat Motors. I had to pre-order it. It took about 1 month to arrive. I like Nat Motors for purchasing bikes (I have purchased 3 from them over the years). Can't say I am always satisfied with their service team though. Sales has always been good for me. Be aware: the new Honda Click 125i has a slightly smaller frame this year than previous yrs. Still, I like the one I bought. It's a bit quicker than my previous Clicks (125 cc), including any I have rented before. And, I can get up to around 106 kilometers/hour on it.
  9. Has anyone changed from a Honda Click 125 to the Honda Click 160? I’m looking to get feedback on differences for the following parameters: (1) acceleration (2) top speed (3) maneuverability (through stopped traffic, e.g., at red traffic lights) (4) comfort (5) storage space under the seat Thanks!
  10. Has anyone had experience with CNX Insure (a local insurance broker in Chiang Mai)? I'm looking to possibly obtain personal accident insurance through them (they broker for Allianz Ayudhya insurance). Thanks.
  11. I had a bargirl once say to me, 'pee farang', I didn't mind at all. She liked watersports.
  12. TooMuchTime, Maybe you should use some of that "too much time" to give your posts some thought first.
  13. I recently entered Thailand through Suvarnabhumi Airport. I handed the immigration officer my arrival card and all other documents she asked for, e.g., the Thailand pass. She took a long time in finally okaying things, even though I had a 60 day visa with me and all of the proper documents. Anyhow, as I mentioned, I gave her my arrival card. After getting to my hotel in Bangkok, I realized she didn’t give me the departure card in my passport. I was so relieved the immigration officer finally let me through, that I had failed to check for the departure card in my passport when she handed my passport to me. I am leaving for Chiang Mai tomorrow from Bangkok. Here are the questions: Can I get the departure card at immigration in Chiang Mai, or do I need to obtain it in Bangkok? Has anyone had a similar situation of no departure card or a lost departure card? Thanks.
  14. Thanks for your reply. I ended up just using the CDC card and got the Pass approved. The approval only took a few days, which was a pleasant surprise. Hope you had a good trip. Have a good trip back.
  15. I’m traveling from the United States and need to apply for the Thailand Pass. The Thailand Pass states, of course, that one needs a Certificate of Vaccination for the Covid vaccine and provides an example of one. However, in the U.S., when we are Covid vaccinated, we are just issued a “Covid-19 Vaccination Record Card.” Has any American uploaded the “Covid-19 Vaccination Record Card” in the Thailand Pass system and found this worked ok? Thanks.
  16. Thanks, KhunBENQ. I was thinking that was also a possibility (only 1 night in BKK and then ok to go to CNX). What you wrote makes a lot of sense and clarifies/confirms things. Thanks so much. I appreciate it.
