How I felt in 2021

Bday Prang - When you say 'Reluctantly' was that due to work or the need to travel? That was outrageous too. My sister actually died of cancer in 2021 in the UK which resulted in me having to make a heartbreaking choice. If I left Thailand unjabbed to attend her funeral I would have been unable to return as I didn't have the "cert' the authorities were demanding for travel/re-entry. I was also adamant I would NOT comply and take this juice. In the end I decided not to return to the UK as she had already passed and my being there wouldn't have helped her. In the two weeks or so before she actually died, relatives also informed me that nobody was even allowed to visit the hospital at that time anyway, even immediate family. So once again returning would have accomplished nothing. So consequently she died alone with faceless medical staff dressed in PPE. She was mentally handicapped too with cerebral palsy so doubt she even would have understood what was going on. It brings a tear to my eye even today thinking about it and also a rage I cant describe. Never Again. NEVER AGAIN.

Again 100%, including on here. The pressure was off the scale globally to comply. One bloke I was friendly with shocked me one day by telling me I was a rebel, just shut your mouth and wear your mask and stop fighting against the system. That was the end of that relationship. He still lives in the same condo and we just pass without speaking these days. Sad state of affairs, but luckily not a loved one or close family and I know that happened too many times too.

What I found particularly terrifying at the time was the complete lack of informed consent. I mean people were lining up in shopping centers FFS and just having some 'nurse' administer a completely unknown product into their body because of the pressure that it was the right thing to do. I will never forget that era or how close we came to losing sovereignty over what goes into our own bodies. In Thailand's favor it did remain a voluntary choice here throughout the whole insanity, but there were times I thought that might not remain the case. Phew.

Not much chance of staying under the radar either for anyone trying to avoid the freeze by using a UK address. I know a couple of people who have done so for years, looks like the digital surveillance state will be potentially catching up with them soon.

Is Bitcoin going to zero? People have been saying this since the days it went from $0.00 to $10. They'll still be saying it after it passes $1m. Peter Schiff anyone. Bottom line is even though most focuses on price, fundamentally price is a symptom not a cause. The cause is it's the first intrinsically deflationary money we have ever had, whereas the garbage we call money today [currency not money] is a deflationary debt based disaster. I'd say the odds of Bitcoin going to zero are close to zero.

Convid also scared the living daylights out of me too and not due to something that had a 99.3% survival rate, but because of the mindless obedience to authority displayed by the vast majority. The cashless society is all about control masquerading as convenience, so for heavens sake people learn something from your 2020-2023 experience. Be prepared as they are going to push the CBDCs narrative just as they did the 'pandemic'. I prefer to call CBDCs slave coins, as that is exactly what they will be if we lose the cash option. If you think this is all some conspiracy theory you may not have noticed that most of those theories from the past 4 years are regularly turning into facts these days. Fiat paper is bad enough given the unlimited printing, debt and increasing restrictions associated with carrying it, but if you think it's bad now, just wait until we are all corralled into a CBDC only world.

I'm not 100% certain but I believe the ID side of this topic is a completely different issue. If I recall a while back I can remember reading in the BK Post about something that was called the 'Gender Recognition Bill' or something similar. Once again if I recall correctly, it was firmly defeated when it came to a vote. Basically it was deemed too devisive for reasons such as potential problems related to male and female prisons and hospital wards etc. i.e Someone who identifies as female but still has their equipment intact and fully operational could potentially be a threat in an all female facility for example. Unfortunately the problem can work both ways. Imagine a birth male who has had full reassignment surgery and now appears female in every outward respect, who then gets themselves into a spot of bother and ends up forced into a male prison? That can't be right either. A shared male only medical ward would be something similar. The only solution I can see to this dilemma would be completely separate transgender facilities, or those who have completed full physical transition surgery be the only ones permitted to change their gender on official documents.

US Dollar undermines the US Dollar, doesn't need any help, just like every fiat currency on the planet. In addition fiat is and has been used in more criminal activities than crypto ever has. The propaganda that Bitcoin is a threat to the US Dollar is true but not because of criminal activity, but because of its decentralised nature and requires no permission to use.
