  1. Thank you yes correct arrive at airport get a visa exempt entry then complete the next steps. We are getting an agency to assist in the process because my mom is 77 years old and want things to go as smooth as possible for her without any major issues. I did a non o visa based on marriage and have had it the past 5 years doing annual renew but feel it would be in Mom best interest to have an agency for her.
  2. Thank you yes convert the TV to a non o retirement then yearly extensions.
  3. Mom is coming to Thailand with a one way ticket plans to get passport stamped in BKK for a 30 day TV. Can anyone confirm if the USA carrier will require a onward flight out of Thailand at some point around her 30 day expire. Her intentions are to move to Thailand and stay with our family. Thank you
  4. Thank you so to understand, This is for my mom from USA would arrive on a tourist visa then she would convert the visa to a non o visa and no medical would be needed only the financial requirements such as seasoned bank funds or proof of social security payments that meet the Thai immigration rules?
  5. Can anyone please confirm that a retirement visa requires medical insurance? I was told by a company that specializes in the Thai Elite visa that if you arrive on a tourist visa and then convert to a non o-a visa that medical insurance is not required? However if you get your non o-a visa at a Thai embassy in your home country before arrival to Thailand medical is then required going forward?
  6. Roundtrip flight from USA arrive on Dec 1st return flight USA on Jan 3rd, I just read the news out and it looks like you can arrive without a visa and stay up to 45 days on arrival without having to pre file any visa paperwork at all with the Thai embassy.
  7. I booked a flight for one of my family members to visit me in Thailand, I have a current non o visa and I will be flying back with them from USA to Thailand soon. I booked the flight for a stay of 33 days I know I will be fine to stay but as far as my family member flying will they be denied to board the plane without a tourist visa for up to 60 days? or can we just buy a throw away ticket to show onward travel?
  8. I have two round trips planned to leave Thailand and return, What is the procedure to obtain a reentry stamp in my passport to keep my current visa? Is there a multi re enter stamp or do you have to get one reentry stamp at a time? What are the costs on either? Thank you
  9. So that could turn into a total of 18 months with 60 extra days added each time of the 90 day entrys? 4 each 90 day entrys and 4 each 60 day extensions? correct? Thank you
  10. I am ok until March 2023 that is when my next visa expires as I was just issued a new year having only to report every 90 days to my local immigration office, However I might have a money problem in March 2023 for the 400 k thai baht requirement. I am close to the Lao border so am I right in thinking that if I do have a money problem next go around and the Lao border is open I can go the route of getting a non o based on marriage at the Thai lao embassy and get a multi entry and just be required every 3 months to go across the friendship bridge and come back the same day? Is this correct Ubonjoe?
  11. If I can no longer keep the 400,000 thai baht in a bank account. What are my options then going forward for my Non o based on marriage? I understand there are still issues with land border crossings but I am asking if these were lifted? What would I have to do going forward to keep my non o intact going forward? Thank you
  12. I recently returned to Thailand on a new non o visa and it is valid for 90 days. Do I have to wait until the last month of the valid 90 days to apply for an extension based on marriage? I already meet all other needs such as seasoned money etc.. Thank you
  13. https://medex.co.th/service/covid-test/ This is the one I used before I came back to the USA it is right near the Phra Khanong Bts. Safe travels to you and your family, Thank you for all your positive advice.
  14. Just to be clear my Thailand pass test and go is approved for arrival on November 30th, However I am now arriving on December 1st. My flight number that I used when applying did not change only the date of arrival to the 1st of December. I also changed my hotel to match the dates of arrival on the 1st and check out on the 2nd. I switched to a different hotel than I had applied for but the hotel is approved for test and go and all is legit with my reservation. My only concern is getting to Thailand on Dec 1st when actually I am approved to arrive on November 30th. I guess I am looking too much into this??
