Thanks for the replies. For the question about the requirements. I will add that you need the new requirement of ‘notification of residence for foreigners’. Do that online and print it out. For bangkok, only one set is enough. Also two color photos of you and wife at residence printed on one A4 is enough.

Hi i have just applied for the one year extension at chengwattana in bangkok. I will be returning in three weeks to have the extension stamped into my passport. Regarding the 400k in the bank. Does it have to remain above 400k to show them again when I see them in three weeks ? Or will they not check again ? thankyou !

How about on the "add" page, does it say 'in progress' up top?

So I registered an account using my condo which is in wife's name. Then I added myself to this condo. I did this on october 1st. Checkin date 1st October stay for 90 days. For the past three days I have tried to search my record but it keeps saying record not found. If I set the date of stay from 1st october to 11 october, it says the record can only be searched for past 7 days. Now I am not sure if I registered correctly or not since the start. So I press the ADD button and try to add myself again. However on the ADD page, it says 'in progress' up top. Does this mean I am still not added into the system for the last eleven days? Anyone else seeing the same thing?

Yes they will print one out for you there if you ask for it.

Yes thanks all, I can confirm. I walked in at Bang Sue today. Pfizer booster given for any previous vaccine combinations. Fast and efficient. Not too many people today, was in and out within an hour. Free parking available underground.

Do you know if these are available for a 3rd dose for walk in? Regardless of what the 1st/2nd doses were?

Hi, I have had the first two shots done in Pattaya last year. Both Pfizer. However, I am unable to find where I can get a free booster shot at the moment. What is offered by the DMS at MBK shopping center seems to be only for people with other mix/combinations of vaccine. Thanks in advance

So I went to Chaengwattana immigration today and spoke with a couple officers there. I will leave the information here as it may be useful: - Two officers separately told me, no need to transfer the extension from old passport to new passport before I leave. Just present both passports at the airport immigration - The consideration period of 1 month for the one year marriage visa extension cannot be shortened for my case. I have only 3 weeks left before I fly out, they cannot make an exception. So renewing before I leave is not possible. - They suggest either I get a new non-O visa before I enter Thailand next time. And repeat the annual extension process from there. The motions are the same, not any more tedious they say. - Or enter Thailand on the visa exempt 30 days. Then within the first 14 days, come to Chaengwattana C1 counters and convert it into a non-O visa 90 days. The same supporting documents required, except one difference is the 400k baht in bank does not need to incubate for two months prior to application. After the 90 days, renew the annual at L1 counters.

I don’t have re-entry permit. The extension expires on the same day as passport expiry. Do you think it is better to apply for another year extension before I leave. Or just return later with new passport and apply new ?

I have thought about renewing the extension before I leave. But not sure I have enough time. Do you remember how long the consideration period is? Between application and receiving the extension.

The old passport has the corners cut and holes punched, will this be a problem?

Hi, I am in Thailand at the moment and I have just gotten a new passport from my consulate. My one year marriage visa extension is in the old passport. The visa extension and the old passport expire on the same day next month. My plan is to exit Thailand before they expire. Question is at the airport, can I get stamped out with visa in old passport? Or must I go to Chaengwattana and transfer the visa extension to the new passport before I exit? Thanks in advance
