  1. Thanks for the replies! I have discovered 4 -7 -8 breathing which helps to calm me down but doesn't put me to sleep. A useful breathing technique nonetheless.
  2. Thank you connda. I was prescribed ambien awhile back and it made me do things that I don't recall doing, so stopped using it. I was later prescribed temazepam which helped a lot, but I took it on an as needed basis and never developed a dependency. I've also taken zopiclone, also on an as needed basis. I know that temazepam is near impossible to be prescribed in Thailand and was curious if zopiclone was prescribed in Thailand as I've had a positive experience with zopiclone. I had a wretched life experience years ago (not in Thailand) which left me with PTSD and chronic insomnia. I've come a long way since this experience yet find that I still occasionally need help with sleep. I'm considering moving to Thailand (where I've spent much of my life before this experience) and am curious about the availability of sleep aids in Thailand. Thanks!
  3. Thank you Sheryl! By off market do you mean that it's no longer prescribed and not used in Thailand even by hospitals?
  4. Has anyone purchased Zopiclone 7.5 mg in Chiang Mai, Bangkok or elsewhere in Thailand? If yes, where did you purchase it and at what price? Thank you in advance for any and all replies!
  5. Has anyone ever purchased 7.5 mg pills of Zopiclone in Chiang Mai or in Bangkok? If yes, where and for how much? Thank you in advance for any and all replies!
  6. Thank you for suggesting codiphen, I'll try it and see what happens. I've taken some other sedating antihistamines in the past and sadly they had no effect. I've been hesitant to try kratom but maybe will give it a try after all. Thanks!
  7. Thank you for the many replies! I was initially prescribed ambien yet it didn't help. I was then prescribed temazepam which has been a huge help. Taking temazepam once or twice per week isn't enough to create an addiction. Every night or perhaps every other night would likely do so. I stopped temazepam for almost two months with no withdrawal effects and then started taking temazepam again as needed after two months because it helped me. Ambien can also create a dependency if taken too often. CBD didn't help with the PTSD, but thanks for suggesting it.
  8. Thank you both for your replies, they're sincerely appreciated!
  9. Has anyone received a prescription for Temazepam in Chiang Mai? If yes, where did you receive the prescription from? I was in a car accident in my home country many years ago which left me with PTSD and chronic insomnia. Temazepam 30 mg was prescribed for me to help with the insomnia which I continue to find helpful. I don't take this medication every night, just once or twice per week. I'm considering relocating to Chiang Mai (where I've lived before) and I know that benzodiazepines are tightly controlled in Thailand, so I'm curious as to where I could get a prescription for temazepam. Thank you in advance for any and all replies!
  10. @connda - What are the other options for those living in Chiang Mai?
  11. Phii with a falling tone is a polite way of addressing a person, especially someone perceived to be older. I first came to Thailand as a teenager and nobody called me phii. As time has passed it now seems most everyone addresses me as phii. Phii with a rising tone means ghost, which is also occasionally used to address me …
  12. I’m not sure how they work, I just know that they work to completely get rid of hemorrhoids. They’re non habit forming and safe to use as often as needed.
  13. Glad I could help! Daflon/Dafomin taken 2 pills/3x per day clears them up immediately. Afterwards take the pills as needed. Drinking a lot of water, taking fiber pills and warm salt baths are also excellent suggestions!
