Approx 60 kg.
Bags come in 25 kg.
So you need 3 (Use 2 1/2)
Ok, 3 bags it is.
What is the cost per bag?
Do you have a store front or can you deliver?

Coarse Eco is only used in very large filters to cover the dispersers on the bottom. Most filters we only use the small including house filters.
I am glad you sent oictures as I though you where talking about a pool filter.
I typically throw these types of filters out & replace with fibreglass. These in the pictures are cheap 304 stainless and will be pitted inside from corrosive water. In particular iron in the water creates an acid which also damages the inside. If one has carbon, it will most likely be a solid block now. The PVC looks like it will be brittle as well. You may find you will have a hell of a time once you start pulling them apart. I strongly recomend changing to fibreglass POE filters. Fibreglass is impervious to damage from harsh water & menerals. One with Eco & other with resin softner.
See attached pcture of POE house filter. The one in the pic is 12" and takes 60 kilo Eco
Hi again
So I purchased new filter housings, I think they are very similar to the one you show in the picture. 12" diameter and 52" in height. Should come out to an internal volume of around 97 Liters.
How many Kg´s of Eco will that be? -

I was hoping I wouldn´t have to change them out straight away, but you are probably right in that they should be replaced asap.
I will se what filter housing I can find and get back to you once I know what housing I settle with. -

You only need coarse with very large filters.
Measure the diameter for me to give corect quantities.
Is it side mount or top mount MPV? (Multi port vavlve)
I have attached a picture of the filters, I intend to start with replacing the media in one of them.
The distance between top and bottom flange is 122cm, and the diameter of the circular section is 27 cm.
How is it that only course media would be required, what are the benefits/drawbacks of using course vs fine or both?

I can supply.
What size filter?
Take a picture of the spec plate on the side of the filter.
You need 80% of sand weight.
That would be great.
Does the Plate glass version also come in course and fine as the bottle glass version do?
The filter is installed in a house I just bought last week, so I do not know much about it and there is no data plate. However calculating the volume it seems to be roughly 65L.
From information I have been able to gather online that would equate to about 100kg of sand so 75-80kg glass.

Where can I buy this eco clear plate glass version?
All glass media from eco clear I seem to be able to find is the recycled bottle glass.

I come here to checked if it's really fully legal and it seems confirmed, but why I se everywhere idiots telling that it's only plants with 0.2 % ?
Is it so complicated for them to understand or are they proud to make themselves stupid ?
Thank you !
It´s still early days, gonna take a while until everyone is on the clear on how to interpret the new laws.
For a while it was said that nothing over 0.2%THC would be legal, now it seems like everything goes as long as you don´t make an extract of it.
Either way, as a foreigner it´s probably better to err on the side of caution and let the locals find out how the new law is interpreted, implemented and upheld.
I for one don´t feel like getting into a argument with the police on what this change actually means.
I´m pretty sure that would be an argument they would win.- 11

The building I live in also has a few storage units and I recently bought one, it has a proper chanote, water and electricity supply.
The sqm price for a condo in the building is around 70K, I paid 45K per sqm for the storage unit.
Edit: Yearly juristic fee is paid at the same rate as a normal condo- 1

I went to the clinic in Indra mall recently and I doubt that it's all legal (or the product isn't what it's made out to be).
I brought along my x-ray plates expecting to be examined as I do have a legit medical issue.
But it's just sold OTC, no examination required, along with a generic medical a certificate. Nowhere on the certificate is my name mentioned, what is being treated or any such information.
Was told that if I was stopped by police just to show them the paper and say that this doctor gave it to me.
Can someone that has a legit medical prescription please let me know what one of those look like and where you obtained it?- 1

As I said, I have tried to contact the agent that I used initially. Still waiting for a response, and I will take the drive down to Pattaya tomorrow morning to go to their offices.
But the more information I have up to that point, the better it is.
Can I even do a 90 day report outside of my "home province"?

Hi All
"Wall of text, written on my phone. Sorry for any spelling mistakes"
First some background.
I previously held a thai elite visa. I entered the country a few days before it expired and got a one year stamp upon entry.
I then obtained a multiple re-entry permit for this stamp. So far so good.
This permit to stay expired on the 16th of August. So at that time I went onto the amnesty in place.
Before it expired I spoke with several agent's about getting a conversion done into a non-b, as I have gotten a job opportunity in Thailand.
No one was able to get this done in country.
With the visa amnesty starting to come to an end and me not wanting to leave the country I contacted yet another agent that claimed he was able to convert it into a one year volunteer visa.
Ok, I took him up on that offer and earlier this week I received my passport back with a one year permit to stay based on being a volunteer. I was also informed by the agent that I needed to update my address (TM30) and do a 90 day report (TM47) before 26th of September.
So yesterday I went to CW to get that done, I was then referred to the new place in mung tong thani. Ok off I went to MTT.
First TM30, But it was refused claiming that they needed notorized copies of both my chanote and my purchase agreement (I have owned my condo a few years now).
I went back home and managed to get the TM30 filed online successfully instead.
Back to immigration today for the 90 day report. But it was again refused, claiming that I needed a note from the officer that processed my volunteer visa showing that I had to report before a specific date or give them my receipt from my last 90 day report or they would not accept it.
As I entered Thailand on the 14th of march, and then came the covid shutdown, I haven't made any 90 day report before so I don't have such a receipt. Nor did I get any note from the officer that processed my extension (was processed in Khon Kean).
What should I do now?
Just not do the 90 day report, what would the consequences be?
Maybe the extension itself qualified as a 90 day report, but I still don't have any receipt of it, so next report could be problematic then?
I have asked the agent I used to obtain the visa, but so far I haven't gotten any response from him.

I'm using aethna insurance and can't remember that I had to show any visa. 5MTHB covered, worldwide coverage. Not only for covid but a general health insurance, covid included.

I was just informed by a visa agent in BKK, that I (and therefore also you, I suppose) can convert any visa into a non-b and apply for a work permit in country as long as the sponsor is a major company, such as Siemens, GE, SCC, PTT, etc, etc...

Hi, I PM-ed you a step-by-step instruction on how to register on the IO TM30 website and subsequently file your TM30s.
It's easy (if you know how).

Would you please send the same PM to me? I can't ever seem to get registered there...

Another update:
So I tried going to a different immigration office, and they issued me a multiple re-entry permit without making any fuss about it. Next will be to try and re enter the kingdom using this re-entry permit.
I never had a re-entry permit in the past, can anyone advise if I need to show the original, now expired visa also, or just the re-entry permit? my original visa is in an old passport.- 1

2 questions
1. What does PE mean? I know TE means thailand Elite
2. Does a TE visa require reentry permits? I thought you could come and go as much as you please getting 1 year extensions each time up until the expiration of the entire visa?
PE means privileged entry, and is the type of visa that TE issues. There is no such thing as a TE visa.

Update:
So I went to immigration today to file a TM30 and try to get a re-entry permit.
TM30 went fine after 3 hours in queue (as expected).
Then it was time to try for a re-entry permit, it was refused by split decision. One officer say ok, can do. But two of them said cannot. So in the end I did not get a re-entry permit.
Will try it again in the airport next time I leave. Will update this tread when I do. Although I am not sure when that will be, stay tuned.- 4

Update:
So I have returned to Thailand and I did indeed get a one year permit to stay stamp upon entry even though I was no longer a member.
Now I will try to obtain a re-entry permit on this so I can return again from my next work assignment. Update to follow if I can get a re-entry on this.- 4

Your visa is still valid for one more one year entry on or before the 26th of this month.
I think they start the membership when they do the welcome letter. Probably not unusual for the the membership to expire before the visa. The only thing you have lost is the perks you get from membership.
Thanks ubonjoe, I thought so.
They are trying to pull a fast one. Referencing immigration regulation, not specifying any further then that.
I'll update here again in a few days after I have arrived if anyone else encountering the same thing. -
Hi All
I have a 5 year PE visa that is about to expire shortly, according to the written date on the visa (26th August).
However it seems like my membership expired already, unknown to me my membership started one month before actually getting the visa.
Elite membership service is now telling me that visa is invalid due to membership expiry date even though the date on the visa itself is still within date.
Does anyone know if this could indeed be the case? That my visa is invalid even though the date written on the visa is still good?
I think they are trying to pull a fast one me for me to fork up some more money already, but it would be an unwelcomed surprise if I try to enter using the visa and get denied. -
Hi everyone
Since the investment visa is discussed a bit above, i thought i would ask here instead of making a new thread.
If investing in a condo does it have to be a new unit with me as first owner. Or can I buy a second hand one?
I am looking into buying a second hand unit in BKK as I can't really find any new one that I like enough to fork over that kind of cash for.
The all seem to be way over priced for what they are. I have used the search function and found only one reference to needing to be a new condo, but no one seemed like that could confirm that that was the case. Hoping a second hand unit would be acceptable. -
Between bts station thong lo and soi 59, on the other side of the street there is a cheap hotel. About 1k per night, or 13k per month. Since op stays for years I am sure that he can get a substansial discount, I did when I asked for a 12 month contract.
