I had the same problem years ago. Your old passport number is still in the 90 day reporting system and there is no way to change it. From my experience, even doing it in person once didn't fix it. Have to leave the country and come back in on the new passport and then the online 90 day reporting will start working for you again.

Think First. We can do this or not?

Look that you do not have to go to the Immi. for nothing.

In my 25 years me never had to do to much Work. "Connect" your new Passport to the next extensions.

I strongly suspect from what you have written that you do not understand the new ruling. Very very few people will find themselves paying 35% tax here, unless they are extremely wealthy, have no TEDA and import substantial amount of money each year. Even then!!!

well, if your investments are over the 120K or 150K  baht then you might have to pay on that but definitely nothing on the SS due to article 21 of the DTA between Thailand and the US.  Check out the charts for needing a Thai Tax ID number.

    I am from Switzerland.

Earning more than 1 million baht isn't rich.  In addition, I have had 800k in the bank for 20 years and have therefore lost a lot of money.

I am sadly Not rich. 😞
