Fare fight: Phuket tuk tuk driver attacks Thai woman

and now a statement from the police: We have found no tuk tuk drivers in Phuket. -
Thank you for assuring the public about "due process", "the law", "self-investigation" and stuff. It sounds so officious and seems to validate all of it. Yet, this statement has been trumpeted so many times by the RTP that the public could probably recite it by rote. Everything the RTP touches is done by the book and everyone in the RTP is corrupt. Go figure...

Tried today to make online appointment for retirement ext. at CW. The system is not sending out an OTP email to continue the process. Tried several times on PC with two different email addresses, cookies enabled, no VPN, checked Spam folder, no joy, can't proceed. Is this happening to others as well?

Every single time that I click on an Asean Now link, whether from the newsletter, or directly within the forum, I always get the "Subscribe to our Newsletter" pop-up. Dismissing it will make it reappear after a certain time. It's annoying as hell, especially since I am already subscribed to the newsletter. IMO, you should have a filter in place that prevents the pop-up for already subscribed members.

The dark secrets of Thailand’s elephant tourism industry
klauskunkel replied to george's topic in Thailand News
I call this BS. The key to preserving elephants is to preserve their natural habitats, then the elephants will preserve themselves just fine. "Proper training" is just an empty slogan to keep maintaining the status quo and to continue profiting, it will not benefit the elephants but only estrange them from the wild. -

I clearly said "the owner of the house", I did not mention the renter. So, don't quote my post to promote your narrative. Try to understand what you are reading.
